Miyoko (renamable) - You play as a college girl trapped in the monotony of everyday life. Miyoko craves adventure and excitement, but she’s careful not to lose herself chasing danger.

Roya - A flirtatious young man who, after meeting the heroine, seems drawn to her for reasons beyond simple attraction. His true motives remain a mystery. Though his uniform marks him as a student from her school, she’s certain she’s never seen him before.

Chain - A man of few words, he only speaks when it truly matters or to make a cutting comment. His quiet nature, paired with his strange activities, has fueled rumors that he’s connected to the murders.

I first thought this would be another cliche game but it is pretty good, i like the way the story unfolds and how it focuses on characters.
Awesome story and beautiful character design. I just played Chain route and his backstory is top notch.
pretty art style and the story is intriguing and full of fun mystery, I'm still not done with all the different routes yet but i wanted to recommend this VN for any supernatural, mystery or romance lovers lingering on the store page. it's well worth the price <3
I recommend it with my whole heart <3 I have played a lot of expensive and popular otome games, and I still think that Dark Nights series is on the top. Dark Nights - Reflections has not disappointed! pros: - the story is really interesting (if you like horror and mystery themes this one is made for you c:) - pretty art syle (in this part of the series art style is beautiful and consistent) - great playtime (long enough for you to immerse yourself in the story, short enough for you to not get bored by useless informations and scenes.) - great price (masterpiece for such a low price, it is a great deal!) - cool mc (to be honest - my favorite mc. She is brave, charming and witty) - handsome and good written LIs. - stunning music ps. You can totally enjoy this game without playing the base Dark Nights.

The original Dark Nights game will always have a piece of my heart. It was my first visual novel, an entrance to the genre and I'm really happy to learn that there are now extra routes for me to devour. To be fair I wasn't the biggest fan of both Roya and Chain, but I quickly warmed up to the idea after learning more about them. The plot follows a manageable pace and is interesting enough to keep reading and reading. The CGs and character sprites are an eye candy too. My favorite so far is the one from Roya's normal ending as seeing it made me cry a little with emotion. This boy seriously needs a hug. I still have to complete Chain's route to write something more about him & his endings, but I can say for sure that I'm enjoying it a lot. I can't wait for Ikuyo's route!
Very nostalgic, I remember playing Dark Nights years ago and loving the original four LIs, with Roya and Chain being ones that piqued my interest as well. It was lovely to see them have their own routes, letting us finally get more of their backstory, and learning more about the other characters in the process. Overall, I found the UI very easy to use, there are lots of features that make it easier to replay and get different endings. The art is also gorgeous! If there's anything that really shines in Dark Nights Reflections, it's definitely the art. Everything from the backgrounds to the CGs to the sprites, they worked together so so well and you can clearly see the love that was poured into this project. Hard to pick a favorite of the two routes since there were definitely strong points in each route. With Chain, learning about his background and history definitely tugged at the heartstrings, and helped alleviate some of the anger regarding his actions in the first game. With Roya, he was definitely morally grey from the get-go, but it was also heartbreaking seeing how his actions led to regrets. I think Chain would appeal to folks looking for a more sweet love story, whereas Roya would be more the cup of tea for folks who like things a little spicier. Did love getting to know Rasumi, Jace, and Blace more! The side character mysteries definitely shined in this DLC! This might specific to me, but because of
how much time we spent in "the past," I felt that sometimes the ending of the romance routes were a little bit rushed. Since the time spent in flashbacks/the past took a significant portion of the game, and rightfully so, those reveals were so intriguing! It gave us a lot of insight into the characters. As such, the transition back to the present and then to the end of the route felt somewhat rushed.
The endings themselves were definitely satisfying! I just think I would have preferred a little bit more build-up between MC and Roya and Chain in their respective routes. There were also some spelling errors and typos that weren't super distracting, but as someone who tends to get caught by little details like that, it did detract from the experience a little. Overall, would wholeheartedly recommend Dark Nights Reflections! Has everything that the first game has, and more.
Tip: Play Chain's Route first, it is better that way. Chain is so buff and hot but I am a Roya fan by heart. ---- 10/10 would recommend. I love the game. I am obsessed with Roya and his story, and his romantic ending did something to me that I cannot explain in words without sounding insane. Also his normal ending was also very bittersweettttt. I also enjoyed Chain's story and all his CGs were very delicious. I am excited to play the secret route! So I am looking forward to future updates :D [strike] I want to date the space - time twins too pleaseeeeee [/strike] ---- I haven't completed it yet but I simply love it. The art and plot got me hooked and I cant get over the fact that everyone looks so handsome now and our MC looks gorgeous too! Edit 1: So I completed all Roya routes and WELL I have no words - that guy - that silly guy is such a dork. MAN I did the normal route last and that had a significant impression on me, along with all the other endings. I guess I will have to play the romantic ending again so that I can wash away this bittersweet feeling. He gave me a lot of buterflies. Holy. I want more of Roya ugh. Please I want to consume more content aaaaughhh. I don't think I will be able to start Chain's route anytime soon. I love Roya so much that i am feeling a void in my heart rn, now that i have finished all this routes Edit 2: I played Chain's route finally. I still love Roya though. Chain's route had a lot of variety, each branch bringing something new to the table. You also get to talk to a lot of other folks in this route and get to know them better (Rasumi and Kaichi). Chain's backstory was sad and explains why is the way he is now. Also he looks hot in almost all of the CGs haha. Overall I loved it but seeing Roya made me want to play his route again.
Played the original completely and while I didn't enjoy some aspects about the story this time, I found the normal ends for both boys to be oddly the best? It felt like they ended up with more soul. This is a stand alone game, but thoughts of the previous one certainly skewed my views on a few characters in this one. I went through every actionable choice in about 20 hours.
Finally got to play this in full and OH MYY GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!! This was everything I wished for and more!!! Not just Chain and Roya, but to get to know the twins, and Kaichi, and Rasumi more too felt amazing!! I can't wait to see what the secret route will bring!
