In Dark Ages, you’re the Prince of the Great Kingdom, who as a child watched the King – your father – die at the hands of Garth, a power mad warlord with uncanny magical abilities. Garth sent you away from the Great Kingdom to be raised as a peasant, and to never fulfill your destiny as the future King. But Garth made a terrible mistake.

I always kinda liked the game. As platformers go, it's average. But on PCs in the early 90s, it was pretty decent. Granted, it definitely shows its age now, but it's still easily on par with Duke Nukem (the original side scroller version) in terms of basic play control. It has a fairly good weapon upgrade system, and the Ad-Lib music is some of the best from the time.
Dark Ages
Nota: 0/10
Absolutely recommend Dark Ages. If you are a fan of retro PC games, then you will without a doubt love this game. This was part of the 3D Realms Anthology collection which is a great combination of games for anyone who played PC games in the 1990's. Dark Ages has smooth controls, it's packaged in DOSBox, so it worked right out of the box for my Windows 10 rig, and the audio soundtrack is incredibly addicting. You can actually download the shareware version of this game legally online, as well as the soundtrack which I recommend.
In this game you play as johny bravo, who forgot to put on hair gel. In this game, points you get by collecting lemons around the level and your enemies are flying snails. Did i mention that this game runs at 12 fps on my r9 280x ?
An older platformer. Shoot enemies and collect items. Then find an old man and give one special item to him so you can progress to the next level. I didn't like the art style, but I liked the music.
Short, (mostly) easy and a decent story. Few mechanics I can't say I agreed with, such as spider webs causing damage and sluggish/unresponsive controls, but nothing that can't be compensated for.
