Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion

Got this game as part of a humble bundle that had 3 other games I'd been wanting. Hadn't heard of the franchise before and didn't know what to expect going in. I very much feel like I got this game for free. Important context for my review. I would NOT recommend this at full price. Finding out this game is 70 bucks is wild. This is a 30 dollar game at launch, anything more is overpaying. The game is fun, but missing some polish. The story is alright, kind of typical anime game type story. Combat is fun, customization feels deep, and art style works. The controls are solid, and the fact you can customize your controls is a big reason for it. targeting and combat is usually good, but can occasionally slip or not make sense. I've had target locking go through the guy I'm looking at and lock on to someone flying 50m away. However, this isn't consistent so you may or may not experience this yourself. The story never grabs, but it's servicable to the gameplay. If you're looking for a good story, this isn't it. Actual build loadout and customization is pretty solid. It's not as good as some of the big names comparable to it, like Armored Core, but it is fun and doesn't work against itself which is good.

Für Leute die die Demo interessant finden sehr gut. Das Gameplay ist gut und eine Erweiterung zum Vorgänger. Das Spiel könnte aber besser optimiert sein und ich hatte vereinzelte Framedrops. Die Story selbst ist gut, die Sprachausgabe und Dialoge könnten aber besser sein. Das Spiel ist den Vollpreis nur für nur begrenzt wert und Liefert eher so die Leistung eines 50€ Spiels, aber bei dem geringsten Interesse lässt sich ein Key, der teilweise weniger als einen Euro kostet sehr empfehlen auch für die Leute die sich nicht ganz über das spiel sicher sind.

Если брать по сильной скидке, в игре есть светлые стороны. Но за полную ценну у игры слишком много проблем с системами лута, недосказаностями о механиках и однообразии в драках.

I like this game. But I do understand if anyone doesn't like this game lol. I think these mechy looter shooters are pretty niche. if you like Armored Core, chances are you'll like this one. dont expect it to play like the first game. there are similarities but this is gonna feel like a different experience for you.

I think it's a good game. Especially if you like mech suits and grinding loot. Just don't expect anything spectacular.
