In regards to the game's aesthetic, the art, sound and design, the game fulfills these areas very well. And in many of the levels it wasn't hard to figure out where you need to go or what to do, so I consider them well designed as well, but there were still a few things I didn't like about the game. The game feels polished and runs very smoothly, but I still encountered a few bugs, though they are very rare. The controls are good but the camera can be a bit weird at times at certain places. The point system doesn't make sense because you can't access the later levels without certain skills anyway. So it really only matters for the first 2 levels. This felt weird because this type of system is usually in other games so you have the option to skip certain difficult levels but I didn't really see any levels that were exceptionally difficult or hard to beat. There also doesn't seem to be an incentive to gather points other than getting achievements. I like the discharge mechanic conceptually, but I didn't like how it was implemented. The controls were too finicky, and if you were off by even the slightest angle, you would be sent flying in a completely different direction. The visual indicator for the worm boss needs improvement. The worm moves very quickly and there isn't enough time to react so a visual indicator makes sense. Unfortunately how it was implemented is that it simply tracks the worm and doesn't indicate where it will go, even though it follows a static pattern. This isn't an issue to complete the boss, but it is annoying design because it means you have to die once and memorize the pattern instead of reacting to the visual indicator. The visual indicator essentially becomes useless and a distraction to the player. Putting a checkpoint before an autoscroller is also evil and super annoying. Quality of Life issues I found annoying 1. You always return to the central lobby after exiting a stage 2. There's no way to tell whether you finished a stage or not from the door (you just have to remember your progress)

"Cyberplug" is a somewhat mediocre 2D retro platformer with a rather loose "cyberpunk" theme. What do you do in the game? There's a gimmick where you can turn into electricity. You need to collect points to progress to certain levels, adding a Metroidvania aspect to the game (sort of)... and no checkpoints, which is a real killer. At least it's not pixel "art"? The hand drawn stuff is almost charming... but not winning any awards. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 13 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? This is a "maybe" experience... if you have a lot of free time on your hands and nothing else to do, why not? But for the purposes of a review, this isn't something I can say everyone must try. It's not quite there. Valve doesn't give us a "maybe" option in reviews, but if they did, that's what I'd choose for this.
Before I played Cyberplug, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Awesome game!! Side scroller platform speed run type game! Seems simple but takes a bit to get it right.
Juego 100% recomendado.
