Very cool platformer, at the end becomes challenging.

If you like challenging 2D precision platformers and puzzles, this one is for you! 10/10, hope to see more from this developer!
Before I played Cursed Gem, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
A free precision platformer with collectables to search for, secrets to be confused by and a runic language to decipher. Levels have multiple rooms with occasional checkpoints and some challenge modes, hardcore and limited light. As a free game it is easy to recommend, was satisfied with completing the game normally and have continued to poke at its secrets, but there are Steam achievements for deathless runs of each stage and a full hardcore playthrough which might be too much if you want to 100% it legitimately.
Cursed Gem is challenging 2D platformer with pretty pixel graphics and a pleasant soundtrack and is made by the king of 2D engines Godot! Not sure why it's free though!
Absolutely hooked on this platformer! The simple pixel graphics give it a charming retro feel, and the challenging gameplay is incredibly rewarding. I love the added twist of decoding glyphs as I progress - it keeps things engaging and adds a unique touch. If you're up for a satisfying challenge and enjoy decoding mysteries, this game is a must-try!
garbage. switches will suddenly be unpressed even though a crate is on them, and you already got a checkpoint, so you have to start the whole level over. also, just not very fun whatsoever. it also commits the two cardinal sins of precision platformers, which are 1) hazards are out of time with each other and you have to wait for things to line up properly, over and over, just sitting there, waiting for the opening, and 2) when you die, it doesn't reset the level state, it just continues, so the hazards are always out of time with each other. trash. trash. trash. why anyone thinks that's how you design a game is beyond me. literally the most annoying crap about this type of game.
