This game makes me wanna commit seppuku
Great music, cool presentation and an interesting mash-up of indie and stablished IPs. I recommend this game if you have a passing interest in the IP's or puzzle games. I feel some of the characters are unbalanced, but overall the experience is real cool for a casual environment.
I must be blind, because I am not seeing any reviews about the introductory narrator being OPTIMUS PRIME. That kicked this game way up the charts for me. And it's SPF in spirit. So This will be the 2nd game in my ridiculous library that my wife will play with me.
Compared to Capcom's Puzzle Fighter 2, this has controllable attacks, gem-splitting, modern graphics and sound, and, VERY importantly for me, pauses of gameplay so you can enjoy watching the attack and defence moves (and take a moment to plan your next move). I LOVE this game and I really hope we get a sequel. Buy it and lets all request a sequel together!!!!
A pretty fun action puzzler where you match colors of blocky crystals on your side of the field and try to outscore and overwhelm your oponent with it all. There are some familiar faces with some more unique ones in it aswell. Some are unlocked from the start, some can be gotten through the story mode it offers. Crystal colors are customizable and can be changed to other colors if you aren't liking the ones you start out with. These kinds of games of course have online mode in it, but sadly, for this one, it is pretty dead. From reading older reviews, it was pretty dead in the past aswell, which is just sad to hear, since this is a pretty unique game in it's own self and is fun. So, if you are here for the online battling against random peple, sadly, unless you get together with people that would be into it, you won't find anyone queing up for it from the looks of it and and in my experience. But if you don't mind that and still want to try the single player aspect, I definetelly recommend it since, again, it is pretty fun to play even alone and can enjoy yourself whenever you play.
The Binding of Isaac: (a heartbreaking tale of an underdeveloped, emotionally fragile little boy who only wishes to be loved by his mother; an over-stressed, neglecting woman who's depressed about a recent divorce) Some dude at Nicalis: "yeah, but what if we throw this kid into the multiverse and have him team up with Hot Bikini Armor Lady" (in all seriousness, the game is perfectly fine and is really addictive; but the story is perfect proof at why some companies shouldn't have a connected universe)
