Some kind of magic the gathering card battle game, didn't enjoy the overall package
Took me a decade to post a review of this simple card game. I enjoyed my in-between sessions with this game after a long single player game or competitive game. Its too bad this game didn't go any further. Thank you David for making this game.
I think I snagged this title for $.50 - at that price point the game is quite fun. It's essentially a card game based around managing a video game project. The player competes to finish their product before competitors by collecting a team who move production tasks toward completion. It's a quick play with cute art.

This review was actually written Mar 4, 2015. Due to some bug I couldn't post a review, so I posted it as a guide: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=402411958 And I'm finally now putting it in the proper reviews area :) Fun theme, some funny text, zero replayability. Mechanically, it's pretty simple. You have to accumulate a randomized number of points in each category, and you get some cards to complete those points in 2 or 4 turns. There are several cards to help you earn points, or screw over your opponent. You enter the game, you get a hand and face off against an AI. That's it. You can do that a million times trying for a higher score, but that's all there is to it. I don't even think it's worth the 2$ price tag.
A 1-on-1 card game where you have to develop a video game and stop your opponent to do his... The game would have been more interesting if you could play with 4 players (alliances, cards that affect all the others...) and of course if you could play multi with friends! In that state, it's nice, but quickly repetitive and not really surprinsing.
I hate to say it, but this game is just not fun. The core concept is that you're playing cards that count down over a few turns, then that card counts as a point towards your total score. You win by scoring the required number of points in each of the 5 categories. You can interfere with your opponent by playing "bugs" that freeze some or all of your opponents cards for 1-3 turns, which delays their scoring. The problem comes in that you get at least 5 cards in your hand, but there are certain cards you can't play or discard in most situations. This leads to situations where you have 4 dead cards in your hand each turn only to draw one card you can play. It leads to a very difficult situation where you're just playing every card you get and can't do anything strategic. Like I said, the game ends up not being fun because of these fundamental game design flaws. It's not a terrible game, but not something that you'll likely find yourself coming back to again and again.
