RUS Демо пиксельного квеста про первую американскую колонию, пропавшую таинственным образом. Всё выполнено в 2D и пиксельной стилистике. Про сюжет по короткому демо сказать крайне сложно. Вы играете за Хью Рэдклиффа, который переплыл океан, чтобы расследовать исчезновение людей. Ему снятся вещие сны и похоже без мистики сюжет не обойдётся. Вооот собственно и всё, что можно пока сказать. Сама игра выглядит достаточно простенько. Анимации персонажей выполнены корявенько и ничем не выделяются. Геймплей просто как палка. Встречаются мини-игры. С другой стороны даже в этом коротком демо встречается проблема с неочевидной логикой одной конкретной загадки. По результатам Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony - Prologue оставило ощущение зря потраченного времени. Если это лучшее, что может предложить игра, то я не рекомендую её к ознакомлению. It is extremely difficult to tell about the plot from a short demo. You play as Hugh Radcliffe, who has swum across the ocean to investigate disappearances. He has prophetic dreams and it seems that the plot will not do without mysticism. Well, that's about all there is to say for now. The game itself looks pretty simple. Character animations are clumsy and do not stand out in any way. The gameplay is just like a stick. There are mini-games. On the other hand, even in this short demo, there is a problem with the non-obvious logic of one particular puzzle. As a result, Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony - Prologue left a feeling of wasted time. If this is the best the game has to offer, then I don't recommend it.

"Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony - Prologue" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony". Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony is more shovelware from GrabtheGames, famous shovelware pushers who seem to love doing the wrong thing on purpose for their benefit and the detriment of more genuine developers and gamers. It's a crap 2D adventure game that skips over the point that the lost colony had the word "Croatoa" not "Crowalt" on a tree, and features a blend of crappy pixelcrap "art" and non-pixelcrap crap "art", so it looks neither authentic or good... what were they smoking? But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony - Prologue" too. The purpose of this advertisement is to get you to shell out a whopping $10 USD on buying Crowalt: Traces of the Lost Colony, and I don't recommend you do that either. This is only free in the same way that adverts on Youtube and banner ads in your browser are. This is a game demo that's been dumped on Steam to advertise another Steam store page in the hopes of raking in some cash. Just because advertisements are free, doesn't mean they're worth your time. It's important to understand there's a formal process to create a demo/page for a game which hasn't been followed here: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/application/demos While it might seem like an inocuous mistake, publishing demos and advertisements as if they are full games is misleading and in some ways harmful. This advertisement is taking up marketing space and visibility that would be better made available to a developer that's done the right thing and created a full game. Instead, that visibility is given over to a demo/advert that's been published incorrectly and is polluting the marketplace. It's unclear if this mistake was made through incompetence or a deliberate intent to mislead gamers. Often developers may choose to incorrectly publish demo/advertisements as separate games as a cheap way to bypass paying Valve for marketing presence on the Steam front page, which may seem clever to them, but it's harmful behaviour and it's not good for gamers. It's important to note that, despite this being such a low quality product, there's a number of positive reviews that all appeared immediately after the game launched, from suspiciously inactive Steam accounts that have reviewed almost no other games apart from this. Take the review score of this game with a grain of salt. Advertisements and incorrectly published demos don't add +1 to your game collector count, they aren't full games. It's impossible for me to recommend this incorrectly published advertising spam to gamers, you deserve better than adverts.

Не зашло. Механика передвижения и взаимодействия ужасная. Анимация корабля в начале, вызвала испанский стыд. Рисовка единственное, что не вызывает отвращения.

I didn't care for it. The text is pretty stiff and dry, and the mini-games are lack luster. There are grammatical errors that take away from the enjoyment for me.
