Really fun game that scratches that "dead space" itch. More emphasis on resource scarcity than most other horror games I've played
Really fun game. Keeps you on the edge all the time, makes you think and plan out ammo and inventory management and from what i gathered so far has a pretty cool story. Only actual negative i have so far is the performance being pretty tanky. My setup can run it all good but i can see people with lower specs struggle

Mejor de lo que esperaba. La historia me parece algo floja, PERO, la conclusión de los personajes no esta mal. En general es un survival horror moderno bastante decente, con alguna carencia en el combate en algún momento, PERO, compensa su diseño de sonido, musica e inmersión (también se gasta buenos escenarios). Me gustaría que los boses fueran más variados y espero que las pocas carencias que tiene se arreglen en el futuro en sus entregas posteriores porque merece bien la pena. Jugaré el DLC de salida, y espero su futura secuela con mucha ilusión.
Este es uno de esos casos donde se nota el cariño en todos y cada uno de los apartados, en ningún momento este juego tiene desperdicio, evidentemente no es un juego perfecto (casi), pero no decepciona. Es triste saber que esto paso sin pena, ni gloria, pero se entiende por que este juego sabe cual es su publico y eso no le resta nada en absoluto. Cada apartado es casi impecable, ambientación, historia, gemeplay, todo esta finamente construido y da gusto ver cuando todo tiene sentido. Great 3rd person action horror game with some old style item management to boot! Played through on the normal difficulty and felt like it balance the challenge nicely. The early game was definitely survival horror-esque up until the midway mark where you get enough upgrades that makes it more feel like action horror. The story was pretty cool and the atmosphere and world of the game is engaging with both interesting logs from people and also voice messages. Combat feels similar to Resident Evil 4 in all the best ways. I will say though that some of the environmental upgrades you get aren't fleshed out in more interesting ways but doesn't detract from the experience. Going to enter some spoilers her: [spoiler] I finished the game with one ending out of three, to get the true ending you have to play the whole game again on new game +, so be prepared if that's your thing. The new game+ mode doesn't bring anything new to the game, you're just replaying the same game with all your current gear, which feels a bit boring. Outside of that the sections of the game you go to are artisticly cool but also boring in the ways of horror tropes, as a sci fi game it couldn't have been a bit more imaginative, but i'm just being nitpicky. The only other thing i'll mention is that no new enemy types appear in the last 3rd of the game, and start to become a bit repetitive towards the end but not enough to make it boring luckily.[/spoiler] Lastly the game ran great, being it's an unreal engine game! barely any stuttering and never any stuttering during combat! Definitely recommend if you love modern horror games like resident evil 4 or resident evil requiem.

This Might be the most underwhelmed I've been by a game, ever. Now Cronos is not a bad game not at all. I just had a lot of high expectations. The game looks great and there a lot of cool and horrifying visuals. But the gameplay just feels so bland and repetetive, I would also say that the game is too long for it's own good. I felt like things finally started to get interesting about 60% through the game, so remove some of the filler beforehand and I think that the game would have felt a lot better to play through. The foundation is great but the game really doesn't do anything else that well. it's more that there are a lot of small design issues or bad decisions that just keep stacking on top of eachother that hurt the experience. Basically I think that this game is worth getting if you think it looks like fun, but I really recommend that you watch some sort of review so that you have an idea of what to expect, unlike me. If you think that the game looks like fun then I do recommend that you buy it on a 50% sale or more (:
HOLY ♥♥♥♥!!! This was an absolutely 11/10 refreshing experience of a game and story. I legitimately cannot fathom how this game flew under my radar for so long and was shocked to see it release in 2025, having not heard of it at all before the beginning of my playtime. Firstly, I need to thank the reviewer that made me pull the trigger in the first place, enlightening me with the fact that the devs were the same ones tasked with the Silent Hill remake that I personally enjoyed very much. They also made Observer, which I also enjoyed back on playstation before my ascension to the PC collective. This game, however, is an original absolute masterpiece in exposition and overall emotional story telling with an unforgettable setting, characters, protagonist, and sound design. From the very beginning of the game, I was immersed into a universe, so alien yet so dystopian-ly beautiful in its own right, that gripped me and wouldn't let go until the very end. Words alone cannot describe what a phenomenal story this was. I kept wanting to find out and know more and more of the intricacies of this world and who we were, what our driving factor was. To say the least, the sci-fi lover in me was treated to ~27 hours of non-stop fun and immersion and that's before I even dive into the new game+. Prior to discovering Cronos: The New Dawn, I was hot off the heels of Resident Evil Requiem, a huge fan of the series. That style of gameplay was exactly what I was looking for, a survival horror where inventory management was key and combat was unforgiving. What this game does better than the resident evil series in MY opinion is the story that goes along with the entire package. I won't spoil anything at all, but just WOW. If you are a fellow lover of this kind of genre with a specific fascination with sci-fi, you need to give this a chance yesterday. To the team over at Bloober if you ever read this, well done! Truthfully, this game is a refreshing break from the monotony that seemingly plagues a lot of the current games being released. I was but a weary survivor in a barren desert until I reached the invigorating sustenance that Cronos is. Also, I seemingly picked a great time to discover Cronos with the upcoming Lazarus story DLC releasing soon. Not to sound too corny, but you had me giving your team a well deserved physical round of applause once credits rolled. I hope to see more works from you all in the future and am eagerly awaiting Lazarus.
