The whole time I was playing, the graphics were stuttering (no vsync option) and a few bugs such as the red cloth mission that causes everything you examine to refer to the red cloth but other than that it was ok.
Voice Actors are really great! The concept of throw vs place on the ground combat wise is pretty neat. A couple of great jump scares. The Creator should be very proud of this.

bad UI. poor performance on a 7700x/rtx 3080/64GB RAM. why do I constantly have to pick crap up off the ground? Just let me walk over it to pick it up. froze when entering the school, give me a loading screen lol having a crafting system for bandages seems dumb when cloth can't be used for anything else even with those issues, I was willing to see what the game had to offer... until I was unable to interact with my inventory at all. called it there.
"Crimson Hell" is a poorly made, badly optimised and mostly Unity kitbashed third person horror adventure game with a little running around, spooky atmosphere, fetch quests and lightweight inventory management, all of which could be appealing in a professionally developed, polished AAA game... none of which applies to this. It's janky, buggy, and unpleasant to play. I'm not sure if this is an asset flip, but it's one of those cases where the assets just look much better than the rest of the quality of the game... a glaring inconsistency. There's no evidence, but as always, the biggest problem with asset flips besides the plagiarism is the deplorably low quality of the other aspects of the game, and even if the game assets are genuinely created for the game, the quality of the rest of the game is indistinguishable from that of asset flips. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of shady pricing schemes that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable, or something you might want to spend your time on. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
the game is pretty fun but there to many bugs in the game once you get to the shrine and look for letters for the lady it disappear and you can't finish the part. there no save point which kinda suck and the music is copyright on youtube which that suck as well
Because of the bugs in this game, I would not suggest it. I'm going to talk about the game breaking things that I encountered in my playthrough, and gloss over the smaller weird quirks like picking up items being really difficult and reading items not pausing the game. I was somehow able to break the game so that every time I pressed E, one of the lore pages came up. This meant I couldn't talk to the lady who wanted her love note back. So I started over, but when I got back there and she was trying to kill me, I died. Whenever you die, the enemies are just still there and because menus don't pause the game, I couldn't even equip anything or make things in order to stop the enemies from killing me. Anyway, there's just a lot of issues with the gameplay. There's a lot that could be fixed to make the game playable, and then it may be worth playing.
Had to stop play because of a bug.
