This is a low budget indie developed free to play game with outdated graphics and extremely bare level design. There is only one graphic setting of low to high, you cannot remap the controls, you cannot crouch, movement feels clunky, combat feels arcady, there are no difficulty settings, zombies spawn out of thin air and swarm you way too fast, there is no manual save, checkpoints are far away, and the game doesn't actually save if you quit playing so you must start all over if you do. I would pass on this one and play better games.
A decent start for a retro-graphics indie game, but it's got bugs (I fell through the world instead of respawning normally at one point) and quirky balance issues (every time I respawned normally, more and more enemies would appear nearby each time, so it quickly became a continuous, inescapable die-respawn-die loop from there). But hey, the game is free. I can't recommend it right now, but give the developers some time to hammer out the bugs and balance issues, then check back later. It could be fun down the line.
Warning: Asset Flip! "COVID 23 : Test Labs" is one of literally thousands of creatively bankrupt asset flips infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere.
This is a laughably bad Digital Homicide style asset flip, a bunch of Unity Asset Store assets dumped in blender to make an incredibly sloppy third person shooter with some mild adventure game elements. Run around some Unity Asset Pack environments with an asset flipped character and shoot asset flipped zombies. The only remarkable thing about this asset flip is the developer forgot to slap a price tag on it so he could get your money for someone else's Unity assets. So, "COVID 23 : Test Labs" is partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Little, if anything in this game is the creation of the "developer". While there's no up front price for this asset flip, the other problem with asset flips is that when developers aren't capable of doing their job and creating high quality assets, it's also true they can't do any of the rest of the job of a game developer either. That's definitely true for "COVID 23 : Test Labs", and this kind of asset flipping never results in games that have quality or value for PC gamers. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you download this, but just because something is free doesn't mean it's good, and the cost of a game is more than just financial, your time is valuable too. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 11 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Since free games don't contribute to your game collector badge and other profile stuff, is this a worthwhile addition to your Steam library? Nope. There's no up front cost here, but I still feel like I got ripped off, and I didn't even spend any money. That's how bad this is.

Tudo sobre: COVID 23: Test Labs - "Bonitos gráficos " (Valxb21) recomendo. 1. Apesar do tema atual, a abordagem criativa torna a história envolvente e única. 2. 6. **Trilha Sonora:** - Uma trilha sonora envolvente que complementa perfeitamente a atmosfera do jogo. Músicas dinâmicas acompanham a ação, intensificando momentos-chave. 7. 10.
Was close to giving up on the first mission due to my lack of reading. Turned out to be a really good game. Looking forward to seeing how this one develops https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9yDhMp9y_A&t=590s
