Covet Fashion: Dress Up Game

Awful money grab I played this game years ago and it just used to be a chill fashion game. Now it’s just a money grab. You have to buy all these silly over the top prop packs to get high enough votes to win just the pretty lame 4.0 prizes. If you want to score any higher, you will have to buy prop packs to get the votes that win the better prizes. Props ruined a good game and I am definitely going to delete it again. Also the game does not reward nearly enough money or diamonds to even really complete a look or enter multiple challenges. The cost of every item is astronomical. Thinking of borrowing? You can only borrow one item and it takes several hours before you can borrow again. Garbage. And the fact that the game is silent is weird. Add ambient music and sound effects to engage players better.

Sad Been playing since 2016, loved the real brands. EXTREMELY disappointed in the ai slop garbage this game has become, now sadly leaving after 10 years of investment.

So buggy and expensive now. I’ve had this app for a decade and used to love it. However, lately there have been so many challenges that I cannot enter, even though I’ve met the requirements. In addition to that, it’s become very expensive to enter challenges. A single item will cost over 1K at least. They are also moving away from true fashion brands and the majority of challenges require purchasing their cover brand items and there are so many, it’s overwhelming and extremely expensive.

:( I’ve been playing on and off for many years and just returned after a break to find there are no more fashion brands and all the clothes are AI generated… so disappointed, I was looking forward to playing again :(

Earning diamonds in Covet Fashion Game The way to earn diamonds for completing a certain Tapjoy offer is suspicious. I did not earn diamonds for completing a Tapjoy offer many times. I think there should be really short ads that I could watch to earn 10 diamonds.

AI clothes wreck the experience I loved this game when I was younger. It was so fun to style with clothes from real designers—I actually credit it with helping me develop a sense of style! The mechanics are great and I love the in-game economy. But, on redownloading it, I am SO disappointed that most of the clothes are now noticeably AI slop. It takes all the magic out of the game. I hope they’ll bring back brand partnerships or at least have a human design the clothes. 💔

Wish I could give it a no star rating It used to be a good game. It had its issues but you could deal with them. Then EA took over and it has gone downhill since then! It’s not worth playing anymore.

Every review before mine is accurate I used to love this game. I spent every day on it and spent an embarrassingly amount of money it. There used to be so many different designers and outfit choices, now it’s just the same AI generated piece in 10 different colors. The challenges don’t even seem unique anymore. And everything costs diamonds so you accumulate an absurd amount of dollars but can’t actually spend it. Whatever they did to the app, they effectively killed it.

Out with the fun In with the money grab I used to love this game, and while I haven’t consistently had it for years I’ve been playing on and off since 2018. This was one of my first downloads when I would want to design outfits and I would come across and spend hours every week playing. Sure by paying money you could absolutely get ahead but you used to be able to play the game and not get behind. Now, it’s like you are forced into paying or you can’t even enter half the challenges. Plus some of the new stuff is really just repeat items in different colors. And now with the new update the only real way you win a higher score is just whoever has the exact outfit represented in the “featured sections” or the most on theme props which you have to pay for. This game used to make me enjoy fashion and be excited about designing and now all I do is feel frustrated that I can’t enter challenges because everything in season costs diamonds.

Got rid of the core mechanics I’ve played this game for years and recently picked it back up again. They got rid of all the clothing brands! Everything is just covet brand now and it makes things so repetitive and basic. I hope the read these reviews and listen to their audience because I’m not the only one annoyed by this change.
