I lost to the dev so I gotta make this lousy review Jokes aside the game has been fun so far and the 100% Skill No RNG part has made me feel more confident but also think more about my own plans rather than chalking it up to randomness ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me over. Would definitely recommend this game if you're looking for more of a challenge in card games rather than worrying about pulls or losing to chance
Nice game, worth a try!

A bit unpolished, but got good potential
i really dont know why people find ways to complain on a new game trying to be something unique. there are so many pros for this game, i really dont get it. first of all, you can use all cards, can buy cosmetics in shops for your avatar if you like the vibe of it to use and you can use all cards without having to buy decks or something else like in Hearthstone or other games (YUGIOH) you can build your own way up, and use your own strategy. there even isnt RNG so you can really USE YOUR SKILL IF YOU HAVE ANY just need the ability to read and understand ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ people so rude sometimes i think they are dumb. give it a try!
i will definitely say the main point that massively interested me is the trading system more card games need that feature, the other cool feature is where u can see ur character while playing the game itself, another good aspect of the game was the different card borders. I wasnt a big fan on having all cards accessible because they you can learn strategies to easily and possibly counter them to easy, the only thing i found broken was the store, I clicked it and i couldnt go back i had to close the game completely but it does have many ups then downs (I have spoken to dev and they did state the back button was just hidden)
Very fun

Very far from being "the dream card game." It needs a more refined UI, more precise gameplay, and better card design (rather than just reskinning the same concept with different themes). Overall, it feels like a game created entirely by AI.
The game does lack polish, in order for it to become a competitive online card game in its current state, but it has its moments of spark, where it feels fun to play. The card art and ingame assets seem like they are placeholders for the most part, including the UI so I will not be talking about aesthetics here, as they are not set in stone and will only improve with time. General Gameplay: The gameplay is very similar to Shadowverse (albeit without mana cost), where you can play your leader card>hero card>spell card in 1 turn, without the fear of it getting interrupted or counterplayed like other card games as there are no ways to interact with your opponent if it is not your turn. Pretty much all hero cards will have a card effect that triggers on playing the card (or summoning the card), and your leader card dictates which win condition you will be playing with, with a bonus ability to transform (gaining a card effect) to join the battlefield should the situation calls for it (at the cost of skipping a hero card summon/spell card play). All players will choose one of the two predetermined deck, and will have access to all cards within that deck at all times, without having to rely on a 'draw (luck)', and a choice to switch their leader card once per battle. After that, it is a race to see if you can whittle down your opponent's HP or fulfil your win condition dictated by your leader card. There is another faction on the board also, called 'boss', which you can defeat to have it assist you or vice versa. Bosses will have an effect which affects both you and the opponent, until defeated which then will turn it into a hero card with no effect and join the side who defeated it. Concerns: The 2 decks (dovish/hawkish) play slightly differently, both with the ability to play control/burn/attack face but at the time of this review the balance is favoured towards hawkish side as dovish side likes to favor heavy control gameplay with an emphasis on level ups and reinforcing the board where as hawkish has options to take control of opponent's hero cards simply by summoning alone (including bosses), or sending hero cards to graveyard which they alone have access to earning them big time card advantage with no real counterplay. This becomes a problem that shadowverse has had for its lifespan where it becomes a game of whoever can throw bigger cards earlier and harder since most effects are triggered when cards are simply 'played', and there are no interactions in this game to stop your opponent (such as trap card/hand trap/quickspell/mana) The other problem this game has is its number of cards (less than 150 per deck), and the fact that you don't draw these cards but have them at your disposal at all times. One cannot snowball their advantage, as combos are cut short due to the player not being able to play more than leader>hero>spell (limited to which hero you played). If you compare it to boxing, it is a 12 round match with both parties only jabbing at eachother for an hour. There are no moments where you feel like you have outplayed your opponent because you cannot interact with their decision during their turn, and during yours you are limited to summoning a hero and playing their class spell which is a streamlined experience of either heal, revive, face damage, damage opponent hero card etc. The boss card exists to deter players from clearing eachother's board early game (and give time to set up the board), as hero card attacks must be directed towards the boss card, or you face a board clear/face damage but most of the bosses have low HP which means you can ignore them all together, or when your opponent defeats the boss and it joins the opponent's board you can just clear it with your spells or beat it with your hero effect. This is one interesting mechanic that no other card game has, so I wish it gets revised and turned into somewhat of an identity for this game. As of current though, it still needs polish. Final thoughts: To conclude, the gameplay and its aesthetics need a lot of polish but I do see signs of promise in areas of the game. At its current state, it feels incomplete still so if these points could be revised, with proper marketing I think it has a good chance to compete with other titles out there.
