Great game! This game is for those who like cerebral-type games in which you are trying to figure out exactly what is going on story-wise. The gameplay is good, but the story is better. You will have to read a lot of journal entries found throughout the game to decipher the story. A+
One of the best games! Worth it!
YOS! YOS! YOS! YOS! YOS! YOS! YOS! YOS! YOS! YOS!
The game is an absolute blast to play, and it looks stunning with its vibrant red ambience enhanced by ray tracing. I strongly recommend playing with ray tracing enabled—not just here, but also in other Remedy titles like Alan Wake 2. That said, there’s one notable issue: textures often fail to load properly, even when set to Ultra. The fix is straightforward: set DLSS to Quality, max out your graphics settings, then close the game. After that, head to the installation folder and launch the game using Control_DX11.exe. Once you do this, the texture problem disappears.
really nice combat and interesting story
Great atmosphere, great soundtrack. Looking forward to Control 2!
100% recommended.
A wonderful encapsulation of a lot of Remedy's earlier games into a coherent whole, from the TV show aspirations of Quantum Break, to the chaotic gunplay of Max Payne, to the mystery thriller format of Alan Wake. There are definitely flaws. The combat starts off weak, but once you start getting some powers, and the game throws more complex enemies at you, it becomes quite satisfying. Likewise, it has a structure more similar to a Metroid game (which is wonderful!) but there's randomized gun mods and "repeatables" and other RPG cruft (yuck!). I think the writing and story is by far the strongest point, with memorable and interesting characters stuck in this mystery box world that barely makes sense. In the end I really loved it, and got all achievements. I wish there was a version of this game without the worthless RPG cruft though.
A perfect game, with perfect graphics
One of the best gameplay and graphically good looking game. With interesting story from Remedy and as their usual strategy the story ends in a cliff hanger XD. Definitely worth the play before the control resonant drops. Can't wait to play as Dylan. Definitely Recommended!!!
