About

A new take on the city-building genre that swaps micro-management for a more strategic and puzzle-oriented style of deck building.
You have a deck of selected cards, which you can use to place buildings. Each building will affect its surroundings in different ways. The aim of the game is to clear city blocks by gathering the required number of points from your residents, giving more room to build. As the city grows, bigger and better new buildings can be added to your deck!
As you get opportunities to hone and refine your deck, residents will demand more from you. You'll find yourself inadvertently creating zoning puzzles- playing against your own past planning decisions.
Alternatively, engage in competitive city planning against challenging AI or local players. Take it in turns to place buildings in the same city and battle over the affection of your citizens!

I love this casual city builder. I still boot it up to play quick games of it every couple months. I've owned it for almost 10 years now, so I figured I should leave a review.
Don't fooled, this is a card game. A really good one at that
Really creative puzzle game, felt like it successfully captured the fun in deck-building, city building, and tetris all in one game! There's a very wide variety of cards and character abilities which keep things interesting, and it seems like there's a lot of viable strategies to beating all the levels. The difficulty in the final campaign levels can get very difficult, but it remains an interesting challenge.
This game can be very addicting but also have an increase in complexity, especially throughout the campaign. I didn't think the story was all that great but the gameplay and art style definitely made up for it.
Downvote not because the game is bad, it's "passable" at worst. But because it's often billed as a city builder. It's not, it's a card game. If the top tag was "Card game" I likely would have never bought, and therefore wouldn't be downvoting it.
We need Chinese
If you love puzzles games and they're you're go to choice of game, this might be something to look into. I've played a lot of puzzle games over the years and this felt like something new. At first appearance I was concerned it would feel like a clunky idle city builder (partially becaue I didn't read the description and just saw a few screenshots). And it turned out to be a chill and relaxing puzzle experience. All that matters is houses get points, points clear rows, and cleared rows make good sounds and give bigger numbers. Honestly, if there was a board game just like this it would be a blast to play with friends. The voice actor did a great job with her role as the NPC that feeds you information. Just wish there wasn't so much talking and it was quicker to get into things. I found myself skipping through a lot of the dialogue. I liked the "city planner vibe" that was being presented from it. But it didn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. I can't see myself picking this up and playing it very often. Games like this aren't my go to choice. But I am happy I tried it out.
Pretty fun. Not so much a puzzle game as a card strategy game.
