In the dark, colorless dungeons underground there remains only four blobs of color who struggle to survive as they attempt to escape. That doesn't mean that they've lost their personalities though!

This game is poorly programmed in EVERY ASPECT, and I don't even start it. Why? 1) Controls are broken: you can use a controller or just go to f*ck yourself. Keyboard binding is awful and mouse is not present. Obsiously, the game will not show you keyboard bindings: only controller one are visible. So, or you guess it, or you uninstall it. 2) Music starts at 9999999999% when you launch the game: pretty good job so far. 3) The game assume you'll always find 4 players to play with, but server are always 0. I don't have 4 friends that would download an unusable sh*t with broken commands. Sorry guyz, fix BADLY this game or it's gonna die here. And I repeat: I don't even reach the game start, 'cos I can't play it like this!
i thank you for the reason no longer to live. lol

Personally, I never really played a game at all, or the tutorial, but the menu music is a bit quiet
Note: Dead multiplayer game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no players, no populated servers. This multiplayer-only game cannot be played as intended.
This is a really badly made, janky and unpleasant top down puzzle game for four players (there was only ever 4 players on this game ONCE). Each player gets a different colour and you have to solve puzzles by working together. Which is impossible because nobody plays this because the quality is so bad. So, "Colorful Life" is a dead multiplayer game. Why did it fail? It's video game autopsy time! The chief cause of failure is the developer thinking that their game will "go viral" without actually creating any reason for it do so. Competition amongst multiplayer centric games is extreme, and there's only a finite player base to appeal to. This game failed to reach any kind of critical mass and died as a result. Let's go into some of the reasons this particular game failed to appeal to gamers, despite the zero up front cost. The graphics here are particularly awful, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. This game is fairly dated at 8 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. There's no initial download price, but the developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It seems like a nice gesture for the game to have no up-front cost anymore, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. This is also a bit of a slap in the face to anyone who showed enough questionable judgement to pay money for this... nobody got refunded. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? What's the verdict? This is a hard pass. There's no immediate financial commitment, but there are thousands of more compelling games on the platform that will give you a lot more enjoyment for your time.
