Simple yet extremely fun. struggled with 3 stages but overall great plataform puzzle game. Had a great time! Would like to see more stages or maybe a level creator? Keep it up the great work! :)
For a first effort, this is extremely well made, and well worth the price. A great visual style and the player's abilities allowing for creative and varied puzzles make the game a very fun time. At least until level 21. In my opinion, the game should have just stopped at level 20, because afterwards there are quite a few problems. ~All of the main mechanics get introduced in the first 20 levels, meaning that afterwards the levels tend to feel repetitive. ~Levels begin to rely on trial and error in order to solve, not intuition. ~Many times, a run in a puzzle will be rendered literally impossible because of a simple platforming mistake or box push. Things like accidentally pulling a box to the edge of a platform which renders it impossible to jump to, or needing to be a certain colour at a certain point, hitting a different colour, and then having to restart because it's impossible to get to the other colour. ~The game lacks coyote time, which is a period of time after leaving a floor where you can still jump. Many many platformers have this mechanic and the ones that don't feel really awkward to jump with. ~And finally, while the puzzle music was nice for the first 10 levels, and okay for the next 10, it's really kind of tedious to hear it over and over again. 1 or 2 more tunes would have gone a long way. So yeah, fun game, great ideas, it just gets a bit repetitive after level 20. I'm excited to see what else the devs make (at least after Kitiplant. Which is literally just Helltaker, but slower, boring, and with no demon girls.)
Colored Effects was a fun and unique experience throughout it's 40 levels of game play. It has it's share of flaws but overall was an enjoyable experience. For my full review please go here: https://youtu.be/Sicy0Z8Lpz0?si=JBNCUzjWzT9_tx2v
This game really puts the puzzle in puzzle-platformer. It is pretty awesome. There are some real head-scratchers here. The game is extremely well thought out and the developers could not have paid more attention to detail. I had to resort to the guide for several of the levels because they stumped the ol' noggin. The game is challenging to a fault. I gave up after a while because my head hurt. This game is perfect for geniuses and gluttons for punishment alike. Good luck.
Great game...
This game's not for me. I'm not a huge fan of puzzle platformers, but I received a free key and here I am. I do think the game looks great, with some great music(boss music for the win). The puzzles are even mostly very well done. I played up to level 17, which seems to be close to half-way. I got stuck. I got tired of being stuck. I've played long enough to think the game is good, but I'd really only recommend it to people who like platformers with a heavy focus on puzzles that can occasionally get a little frustrating.
个别关卡的设计稍显不成熟,别的方面都还不错,整体难度不高,挺适合放松游玩的 平台解谜现在也卷,一份各方面都有及格水准以上的作品,足够给出推荐了
Sehr gute Rätsel mit etwas Jump & Run. Sehr gut, nur ein Bisschen kurz!
Neat idea, and most puzzles are good. However, a few puzzles rely on excessively precise timing and positioning, and a few more are a softlock party even with the mid-level manual save system (which in at least one occasion bugs out to troll you even harder, looking at you level 30). Still fun if you can handle the occasional frustrating level.
Wonderful puzzle game. Good on the developers for throwing in some action bits as well!
