Color Splash: Cats

Color Splash Jigsaw is a decent jigsaw puzzle game featuring cat images with color splashes, as the title suggests. With 50 different jigsaws ranging from 9 to 49 pieces, there's a good variety of puzzles to solve. However, my main gripe with the game is that the sound mute button only silences the music, while the sound effects continue to play.

Took me nearly 100 minutes to finish all of the puzzles. Sadly doesn't give a lot of replayability, but its some puzzle fun for a short time, if you are bored. The rising difficult level is pretty nice. Perhaps a randomizer (either randomizing the background image or being able to set the amount of pieces per puzzle) would benefit the game.

Hallo erstmal! Diese Rezension wird sich in 9 Kategorien gliedern. Ich hoffe, dass sie euch bei der Kaufentscheidung hilft. Grafik: Die Bilder sind sehr schön anzusehen und mehr braucht ein Puzzlegame nicht. Mir gefällt der bunte Stil sehr gut. Performance: Ich hatte keinerlei Probleme. Preis: Ich habe 55 Cent dafür gezahlt und die ist es auf jeden Fall wert. Alles unter 1€ ist es wert meiner Meinung nach. Spielzeit: Ich habe 1,4h für alle 50 Bilder gebraucht. Also 100% hat man in unter 2h locker. Das ist für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Vergleich zum Vorgänger: Den gibt es nicht. Es gibt noch andere Spiele von dem Macher in diesem Stil, aber die würde ich nicht als Vorgänger bezeichnen. Jedes davon hat auch ein anderes Thema. Errungenschaften: Es gibt insgesamt 100 Errungenschaften. Einmal fürs öffnen und einmal fürs beenden des Levels. Es sind also 50 Level. Nur leider hat das Spiel Profileinschränkungen und zählt daher nicht. Für Privatsammler denen es egal ist ob es gewertet wird oder nicht ist es auf jeden Fall was. Story: Die gibt es nicht. Gameplay: Das ist sehr simpel und genau deswegen mag ich dieses Spiel. Man muss hier keine Puzzleteile drehen, sondern einfach nur einsetzen. In den drei Schwierigkeitsgraden wird es auch nicht zu extrem schwer. Es ist locker machbar. Die Motive sind hier alle Katzen wie es der Name schon sagt. Nur leider wird einem am Anfang bei der Auswahl und wenn man das Bild öffnet, schon gezeigt wie das Bild fertig aussieht. Das sagt nicht unbedingt jedem zu. Fazit: Ich hatte viel Freude mit dem Game und es war jeden Cent wert. Wer simple und unkomplizierte Puzzlespiele mag, wird bei dem Game nichts falsch machen. Ich bewerte es auf jeden Fall positiv. Ich wünsche euch noch viel Spaß beim Zocken und bis zur nächsten Rezension.

This is lovely. I'm enamoured by the gorgeous cats covered in vibrant colours. The overall design is well made, with the puzzle inside a picture frame, the colourful background, even the mouse is colourful! I liked the warped shapes of the puzzle pieces and the gradual increase in size. Starts off small with 9 pieces, then 25, then 49, so far. I'm currently on level 41 and looking forward to seeing if the final puzzle is going to be an even bigger size. Aren't I greedy! I also enjoy spending time in the gallery. Here you can sit back and admire all your beautiful cats. Overall, the game is a great stress buster!
