This game embodies what essentially seems like a well-ballanced "modern" take on isometric camera CRPGs. It's not too stuffy, offering a decent balance between text dumps, exploration and combat. The standard difficulty never feels like everything is too easy or too complicated, and while some fights are quite challenging, there's always an option to go around them completely, which adds a nice variety to the conflict resolution options you're presented with. Visual direction is nothing truly outstanding, but the game's lore is intriguing enough to throw in a bit of post-apocalyptic, spacefaring, dieselpunl vibes to paint a coherent and believable picture. While the game's fractions didn't feel much different to me, the path I've seemingly chosen led me down the way of ultra-libertarianism, which is kinda hilarious (I honestly don't think the game is in any way politically charged as much as it's generally misery-pilled). Overall, I'd also like to add that it's a game that was almost instantly engaging to me, as I hold games like Dead Space 1 and Fallout 2 in high reguard. There's also a dash of Shadowrun games thrown to the mix for good measure. Nothing seemed too complicated to figure out naturally, the writing doesn't feel arrogant or so deep down its own guts it becomes impossible for an "outsider" to digest, and there's a great gameplay emphasis on exploration and various skill checks so the thrills and chills of in-game discoveries are sure to follow!
Become a mutant with a bionic eye who is friends with another mutant with a bionic eye.
A difficult but immersive cRPG, I doubt I'll play it again but I got a good 40 hours out of a pretty completionist underdog run. Would recommend, especially if you can get it on sale.
很不错的一款CRPG,真正做到了不同加点有不同玩法。我这个档主角走的是魅力流,全程基本上一枪不放,全靠嘴炮通关,挺有意思的。唯一的缺点就是流程比较短以及地图指引非常抽象。
Great classic, Iron Tower has some of the best and brightest working on games like these. Atmospheric games that you can sink several hours into without it ever breaking the immersion. Truly one of the best developers we can ask for.
Superb RPG with great story.
Another excellent title from Iron Tower Studio on a relatively small budget. Unfortunately, this game didn’t get the traction that it deserved upon release, but if you have even the remotest interest in cRPGs then this is well worth a look.
Forgett where you got the quest, f you, forgott what to do in the quest f you, Questlog only state the most basic stuff that helps nothing in my case.
super intriguing concept, there's nothing else quite like this. Absolutely worth your time.
very engaging story and it felt like choices had weight. Enjoyed the combat system, some encounters I played many times before I could work out the way to solve the puzzle it presented
