Code S-44 is an amazing stealth game that takes the idea of sneaking around and turns it on its head. You play as an amazing spider robot that can climb on walls and underneath the many floating platforms, giving the player almost unlimited movement and ways you can approach a challenge. For me, nothing felt constrained because there are so many ways to follow a simple path. I made it a point to climb upside down as much as I could for the fun of it. Although the game is not finished, it has great story potential, sneaking around trying to gather bits and pieces of information about your lost friend and the mess you are getting yourself in. Despite the game being in early access, there was only one visual bug that I came across while playing. My only gripe with the game is the fact that I was so focused on moving the spider around I often did not hear what the characters were saying. This lead me to not understanding what I was supposed to be doing, and I often had to take a step back to reevaluate a situation. Overall an amazing game with huge potential! I love the way that the player controls little spider-bot, and am excited to return to the world to track down S-12!

What I liked about the game is it allows me to attempt different routes in different areas to get from the slums to the heavily guarded buildings. This allowed me to be creative and figure out what way or another should I go to instead of attempting to go that same route that can easily get me killed every time. What I don't like about the game is dealing with the red lights, it got in the way of what I was trying to get to...But I guess that's the point of it...LOL. Overall, I would definitely recommend this game to others. BTW, when does episode two come out?
The like the concept of this game, being a spider in a futuristic slum city. However the movement system isn't for me. Makes my head hurt, so I couldn't play it more. For people that can handle this type of game, knock urself out!
General Impressions
Code S-44 is probably one of the more refreshing free games I've seen in a while. It's a stealth game with a simple story, and gameplay that is a one-trick pony. You are searching for your robotic spider twin while lost in an unknown city contrasting to the middle of tumbleweed, nowhere. You may want to lower the volume a bit before playing, as there's no video or audio settings once you launch the game. Though crucial to the gameplay, playing as the robotic spider has tank controls and for the most part, doesn't twiddle its legs very quickly. To compensate, you have a pretty decent camera that you may need to master. There's lots to see and maneuver, but it gets old really quickly. Consider it like if Super Mario Galaxy were a walking simulator. That being said, it's still worth a go.
Liked this a little bit but need to see how it turns out not sure now
