Click your way through hordes of monsters, earn gold, and recruit quirky heroes with powerful skills. Progress even while you're idle, and watch the numbers climb into the absurd. It’s a never-ending journey of clicks, crits, and colossal damage.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
About
Ever wondered what one quadrillion damage per second feels like? No? Well, you’re about to find out anyway. Welcome to Clicker Heroes, the OG idle game that will turn you from a casual clicker into a number-obsessed maniac.
This isn't just your finger versus infinity. It’s a clicker extravaganza where numbers go up, monsters explode into gold, and your mouse begs for mercy. Prepare your meaty appendages, it’s clicking time!

Hire 35 unforgettable heroes to do the heavy lifting while you sit back and watch the gold pour in. From Athena to King Midas, legendary figures join your cause and bring unique powers that crank your damage through the roof. Upgrade them and unlock abilities so strong they make your MMO characters look like kindergarteners.

Click to crush endless waves of monsters and watch them explode into piles of gold. Each new zone brings tougher enemies and bosses that put your damage to the test. Smash through them, claim their treasure, and keep climbing ever higher... until even the Ancients stir in their idle slumber.

Your heroes never quit, even when you do, so gold piles up while you sleep, eat, or pretend to be productive. Then comes Ascension, the big reset that trades all your progress for shiny Hero Souls and permanent power. The first time feels like a prank, but soon you'll come back stronger, crushing bosses that once made you cry, and treating trillions of DPS like spare change.

Recruit and upgrade more than 35 heroes, each with their own powers.
Keep the adventure going even while you are away, as your heroes fight nonstop and bring back mountains of gold while you're AFK.
Ascend to reset your run, earn Hero Souls, and return stronger every time.
Push through endless zones filled with tougher monsters and bigger rewards.
Play for free and enjoy the full game without spending a cent.

This game is really popular in the clicker genre, much more so than most other games. My best guess about why is that they have some semblence of story involved that keeps you interested. Every new hero has a short blurb about themselves, some have interactions, and for the first hundred hours or so of gameplay new mechanics are introduced to keep everything interesting. After that though, it becomes a massive slog. It is common knowledge in the community that there are several, big "slowdown points" in the game where your progress is effectively halted for several tens or hundreds of hours of gameplay as you grind. The first one you will probably experience is after unlocking Frostleaf, where the gap between him and the next hero is several restarts away. These only get more extreme as time goes on. After each slowdown point, the ideal strategy changes, you start grinding again, and then it starts to settle in how little there is of this game. New hero unlocks get slower, so the actual amount of new content you're experiencing turns from streams to drops. You start noticing the repetitiveness in small areas, like the fact that there are only 10 zones to explore that just repeat, or the fact that a lot of upgrade icons have repeated sprites. There are only 9 abilities in the game, and two of *those* have the same icon. Characters start to get samey or uninspired, and it becomes pretty obvious where content drops began and ended because they feel more "tacked on" than "part of your merry men". Some of the lore starts to make less and less sense. "I thought this guy is a god, why is he several million times less powerful than a power ranger? Or a Centaur with a bow?" With nothing to do but wait for your guys to progress, it all starts to seem silly and pointless. There's only one song in the game, and it gets reptitive. You see one new piece of content every few hours. It starts to dawn on you that this is it, and there is nothing more to experience but big number go up. Maybe that is your thing, but you can get just as much satisfaction with a calculator and realistically. If you are into this sort of game, I would actually suggest you get into automation games instead. There is a lot of the same fun to be had with watching yourself scale, but you have puzzles to solve on the way that I think make it way more fun. Even something like EVE probably has enough mathematical depth to appeal to the type of player who is into this. Either way, this is not a game I would put money into. You can try it if you want but there is nothing for you after a while. That said, I am curious what they plan to do with the new remake. Maybe it'll be better?

CLICA CLICA CLICA
Classic coolmathgames game. 6/10. Probably the most classic cookie clicker style game, besides.. well cookie clicker. Starts to take a while to make progress once you really get far into it though.
