Incredible experience I've been looking for a really good turn based RPG story since last year, this game has become something i wish i played as it was released when it was more in the lime light and people were talking about it, i really wish i'd bought it on release jesus christ. I have been blown away by every aspect of this game from an RPG perspective, the visuals are so uniquely incredible and having one of the best designed worlds i've seen in games in years, the music is such a fun and quality filled mix combining orchestras and brilliant choir work with other genres (love the jazz in Monocos stuff), the gameplay and combat interactivity is amazing, REALLY like what they did to combat to give players a newer experience that immerses them more into the action in a turn based game really love the inovation applied here, the only thing that felt like a ridiculous chore was upping my lumina points. The STORY though ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, i loved the build up and mystery surrounding the game and it's main events, really enjoyed the characters and there developments i just wish without any spoilers, they leaned in more to the characters at the beginning of the game. Every act and it's development played a crucial part and i loved it, really got a sense of understanding of the whole story by the end in a really satisfying way but the writting that would've had to have been employed to do this is insane. One of my new fav RPGs 9/10 - If you like turn based RPGs and you've been looking for something new and feels new, this is a no brainer, tomorrow comes

Life changing
This game is fire in every way possible. The story is a 10/10, the gameplay is amazing, the graphics are beautiful, and the sound track for this game is godly. This game is the definition of peak and game of the year (no glaze). This is hands down one of the best games I have ever played.
Have played this game twice. Once free on Xbox Game Pass and then I purchased it on Steam. Beat the game on Gamepass and then stopped after the Lumiere stuff going into Act 3 (on Steam) I'll probably finish it, but there was a few games I was looking forward to playing that came out so I will have to circle back. Having said that - this game is amazing. Characters, Story, Combat - all good. Exploration is a little hit or miss at times, and even after Act 3 when you can fly... it can get slightly overwhelming if your not ready to deal with the massively scaled up enemies (even with 9999 damage cap off). Would still recommend and I do think this game will go down in history as one of the greatest "new age" RPG games of all time.
This game seems SO good. I don't often leave reviews, but I just wanted to say that if you are planning on playing it, play it on something other than the Steam deck. Getting even "medium" graphics settings takes major tinkering, and makes the FPS drop down to ~25. I'm usually the person who doesn't care about this sort of thing (I'll play competitive shooters with potato graphics and ~40 FPS), but this game really requires timing for parries AND an understanding of the characters' emotion. Maybe it will be enough for some people, but I decided to refund and hold out until I got a better system. Great game. Recommend if you have a better rig. But make sure to really think about it before you get it on Steam Deck.
despite some of the flaws in story it is a very beautiful game. final fantasy fans will enjoy
Of The Year, duvidei dele.
This game really is worth the hype. Combat is very unique and changes what a turn based system can feel like. Story, music, artwork, characters, and so on are simply a masterpiece. Gameplay hours are pretty low for the cost, but honestly I feel like I have played this game for 200 hours even though its been 40 in a good way.
