Didn't really buy the hype when it came out and swept all the GOTY awards but decided to try on sale. I completely understand now. One of the best games I've played in a long time. From the gameplay, to the story, to the visuals, to the writing, to the music, it's a masterpiece from start to finish.
Super fun. Lots of strategy and tactic involved. Feels like a mix of a sword/melee focused game like assassins creed or stellar blade and Baulder's Gate.
Most modern AAA games are just money laundering schemes and propaganda machines. Not this game though. This is pure art. Few games are at this level of quality. A game made with love and passion by true artists, gamers and dreamers, not by brainrotted corpo slaves. Rarely do I so thoroughly enjoy everything about a game, from writing and storytelling to gameplay, art direction, graphics fidelity, audio design, stellar soundtrack and everything in between. It's unbelievable that they managed to craft such a masterpiece with a fraction of the budget other AAA games "need". If I had a choice between getting 10 "standard slop" AAA games for free every year, or buying a single game of this level of quality only once every year, I'd choose the latter. Do yourself a favor and don't skip this one.

What an absolute treat to get to experience this game unspoiled after a year of its release. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is one of my favorite games of all time, with tight parry/dodge mechanics in its turn-based combat system and such an expertly written narrative for the characters and the world itself. This game greatly rewards the second playthrough, either from a fresh save or a New Game Plus (NG+). My first playthough lasted about 37 hours, and my NG+ run (100% achievements, with minimal achievement hunting guides) lasted about 88 hours. In total, I've played 125 hours of in-game time, though I must have left the game running for longer than that since my Steam game time has an extra 30+ hours. I highly recommend playing this game if you haven't yet. I rate it 33/10. For those who cry after!

Beautiful game
Как же я жалею что не вернул бабки за эту игру. Боёвка в этой хуете это просто выжидание тайминга чтоб нажать q или e и при этом она скучная как дерьмо ♥♥♥♥♥♥.
