Fun, cozy game. The story is ridiculous but jumping around the map to explore felt rewarding. It would be nice to have a hotbar for items you hold in your hands and a bit more inventory management, but the game isn't fast-paced so those aren't dealbreakers for me nor did they take away from my fun. Not being able to scroll through orders in the furniture crafting stations was more annoying, but it's a game about cutting wood, I don't expect it to run without me doing some stuff. The press F to pay respects joke is pretty great, too.

It's a good time! Try the demo, at least! If you like the demo, you'll like the game, because it's just more of the same!

Such a fun and irreverent game. It's a dopamine mill, you *will* lose track of time in the very best way. Absolutely recommend if you're a fan of Hat in Time or Spyro, but looking for a smaller world map (for now?).

This is a really good game! The storyline all come together in a way that’s funny and genuinely enjoyable. The humour lands, the mechanics are smooth, and the whole experience feels crafted with real care. A warning, this is a game where you have to grind, but the results are really worth it!

Vraiment très cool comme petit jeu, je l'ai poncé en +- 20 h qui sont passées comme rien. Seul petit bémol : une quête, celle de la carte au trésor qui indique un coffre à la plage, impossible de la valider, car la carte est à terre près de la bouche d'égout de la tortue et impossible de la ramasser, donc je ne peux pas récupérer le 3e tableau. Peut-être faudrait-il ajouter un système d'abandon de quête en cours pour pouvoir la reprendre et débloquer ce genre de situation. I played the full demo (as did my partner), and we both loved it. Now that I am about 5 hours into the released game, we can both still say the same. The graphics are fine enough to be visually interesting while being fanciful enough to immerse you into this little story. Sometimes less is more, and the devs nailed it. The whimsical story and the quirky characters are enjoyable and fit into the narrative. There is enough grind to satisfy that dopamine itch many of us enjoy, and enough return on grind-investment to keep it moving and not get stale. Give this game a try. Oh, and if you like sticking it to the man, this game is for you.
