Choose Wisely

Got this game as a reward in a random steam package thingy, and honestly it's been great. Great concept/creativity. I would love an extended story/universe, but obviously the devs only have so much in the way of resources. I think they did great with what was available to them, though and would definitely recommend for anyone who enjoys old school turn based rpgs

[h3] Rather neutral review than negative[/h3] I had some fun time in the game, but in the end I had a cup of disappointment. To be concise, the game could be much better if the developers chose wisely. The idea of the main plot is good and it was interesting to play to reach the final. But the trouble is in 50 different paths that is stated in the description. Yes, there're over 50 paths, but except different combinations of these characters in party it's all the same. There's only one ending whith unique addition, others are just the same scene with different character going into the sunset with 3 different copypaste phrases for 9 characters. Especially with how bosses are placed (it's really annoying to rerun). The first run was fun, all next felt just like a waste of time.

Un jeu correct à la sauce donjon mystère, avec une histoire de fantasy un peu glauque, mais sans plus. On prend un certain plaisir à rejouer le jeu quelques fois pour voir différentes fins possibles, bien que cela ne change rien au parcours et à l'histoire en elle-même.

Me esperaba un rpg pasable con todos sus tópicos, pero me he encontrado una combinación muy insólita de terror y manipulación maquiavélica. Muchos juegos falsean eso de las elecciones relevantes de una partida y casi siempre acabas con el mismo protagonista en el mismo camino y con unas pocas variaciones insignificantes. En Choose Wisely se atreven a algo más (dentro de sus limitaciones indie) y no dejan títere con cabeza. Reservad muchas partidas guardadas en distintos puntos, porque aquí las trampas mortales y las traiciones están a la orden del día. Si elegís el modo historia, el juego os resultará fácil y podréis pasároslo varias veces en un día, porque os aseguro que las ganas de ver otras opciones os conquistarán, no podréis resistiros a la rejugabilidad, especialmente si le cogéis cariño a un personaje o manía a otro. Lo único que falla es la revelación final del argumento, que es un poco tonta y ridícula, aunque lo importante, como ya he dicho, es el camino elegido.
