Choke on your own balls You guys suck. I used to love you guys back in the day the stories are good and real. The royal romance series, high school stories freshman OMG, what happened go back to your roots if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

fall from grace What used to be easily the best option for choose your adventure type games, is now just AI slop made to churn out the worst quality content to make money with the least amount of effort. Literally every book now has an ai cover, the same characters, same story structure really. Terrible company/developer who sold their soul and passion because they were too lazy to build their own stories. If you’re going to get this game, just play Endless Summer. I come back every once in a while just to do that one cause it’s the best thing that has ever come out of this game and is a prime artifact from a time when these losers actually put some effort in. Just play that or HSS or Crown and the Flame or another one of the originals that came out in Choices’ early days, which was also its prime. Don’t bother reading any of the new ones, you’ll lose brain cells.

Decline in Quality This used to be my favorite app, now it’s filled with “stories” that look AI generated with no originality. I miss when this app had good writing (and actual writers, it seems).

Remove the price tags SERIOUSLY? HOW IS ANYONE SUPPOSED TO ENJOY THIS APP WHEN THERE ARE NEVER ENDING PAY WALLS UP EVERYWHERE??? NOT EVERYONE CAN AFFORD TO SPEND MONEY ON THIS EVEN AS AWSOME AS IT IS!!!! YOUR OFFERS DO NOT WORK!!!! MAKE IT FREE SO ITS FAIR FOR EVERYONE TO USE WITHOUT PAYWALLS!!!!!!!! really sad. i was on the ground floor for choices when this game first launched, being a fan of the original writers and staff from their previous work in mobile games. this app was everything to me for years. i’ve spent a good bit of money over that time and have made lifelong friends through this game. and it has been so, so crushing to watch the quality in art and writing take such a hard drop. everything has become AI generated and they are no longer trying to deny it but fully embracing AI. these stories used to have heart and soul and now i don’t even think a real person works here anymore. just absolute terrible slop.

AI Goonslop Loved the early stories (e.g. It Lives in the Woods, Veil of Secrets, Wishful Thinking), they were entertaining, engaging, and used REAL HUMAN ART. How are you going to make a game pay-to-have-fun then use AI to create the titles, characters, and probably stories (at this point they probably are AI generated). I genuinely used to love the stories, but now I just can’t with the AI slop.

AI..? First they used AI to make the posters, now they’re using it to make the stories? There are people spending $15 a month for the membership just to read stories that were made by a computer. Really disheartening and unfortunate honestly. There’s no real passion behind any of the newer stories.

disgusting AI usage if you were a fan of the original pixelberry team and games, just note that the state of the app today is nothing remotely similar to what we grew to love. the use AI to generate assets AND write their stories from them; original books that were completed have been brought back and thrust through the AI wringer to deliver you 100% garbage. returned only to record and save one of the original titles from 2021, but playing through anything else being pushed out these days is a waste of time

Awesome I started playing again, and forgot how cool it was, wish they had more options for appearance but it could be just limited in the book itself. I also wish they would bring back high school story, I would blow my money on that game now that I’m all grown. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING IT BACK, it would do phenomenal now that the younger generation is grown and able to play. The type of serotonin I received from that game is Genshin and Love and Deepspace for me now, but I would 100% drop those games if high school story came back :(!!!
