Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cute, fun, short! I really enjoyed the story and will probably keep playing endless mode or overtime shift.

The satisfying, puzzle-like scanning, huge product variety, and charming humour make this a well-made cashier sim. However, the increasingly stressful story mode and fiddly produce-code system made it less relaxing and enjoyable for me than I’d hoped. Ultimately, it wasn't my type of game, but I'd still recommend it for others as it's well made, if this sounds good to you. Full review below. I use a plus + and minus - system for how significantly each item improved or affected my experience. +++ Mechanics of scanning feel pretty satisfying. It plays like a puzzle / tetris type game. You're scored on speed and matching categories of items. There is also a small "staging area" so you can rearrange things if you need to, as you can only see/access a small amount of items at a time. It was very enjoyable to get big combos of items. +++ Lots of different products to scan. Huge variety. ++ Audio and visuals are charming. They got the "doot" just right. ++ Humour is amusing and on point; I think the developer was a cashier in the past. There is lots of dialogue and personality if you explore between shifts. + There is a mode with no time limit for those that need it. - The story mode feels a bit… stressful. It almost has an "endless zombie survival" type feeling to it, where you "will" get fired eventually, and you're banding together with your coworkers against the rising tide of customers. Customers get more and more difficult, with less and less time to complete the checkout; it's just a matter of holding on as long as possible. None of the employees are actually happy or really want to be there, and they're treated pretty badly. It's a good social commentary, but for me the vibe was a bit off for a relaxing game. - Manually scanning the produce items is very difficult compared to the rest of the items. You have to consult The Tome, and manually find the correct 4 digit code matching the small pixel art in the checkout. There's no name provided and it's alphabetical in a huge list, so you need to keep scrolling until you find it. For example, I failed a customer because I was trying to find "spinach" when it was actually "basil". All leafy greens look same. Maybe it gets better once you start to memorise all the common item codes, but they're pretty random and hard to memorise. Disclaimer: My reviews are based on my personal opinions and experiences. They’re not intended to be objective statements about the game, so it’s perfectly fine if your experience and opinion are different from mine.

I’ve been playing Checkout: Cashier Simulator on and off for the past few months, and it has become one of those comfort games I keep coming back to. There’s something really special about it. You can genuinely feel the creators’ heart in every little detail. What surprised me the most is how much I enjoy even the parts that are supposed to be “tedious.” I absolutely love typing in the produce codes—it’s oddly satisfying and almost meditative. The whole experience has this calming rhythm that helps me slow down and stop overthinking. It’s also become my go-to game when I want to relax before diving into something more complex. It resets my mind in the best way. I truly hope the developers continue creating more wonderful games like this one. It’s a small gem that clearly comes from a place of care and passion.
В этой игре люди не мрази, мне нраица Геймплей репетативный и приятный, можно залипнуть. Немного подбешивают арты овощей и фруктов в книжечке, ибо иногда они слишком сплющены, но привыкнуть можно со временем
Who doesn't love having a relaxing chill pixel graphic game like Checkout Cashier Simulator where all you do is nothing except paying for all the customer's groceries? I mean it's already amazing to me since I love cute pixel chill games!
Amazing - scratched that ADHD itch in a big way, I can count on my one hand the amount of games I've continued to persue to get 100% Achievement Unlocks - this is now one of them!
A delightful game for a neurodivergent gremlin. I tried the demo before is came out (btw thank you for making a demo) and knew immideately that I will spend hours in it. It is just the perfect amount of "easy to learn, hard to master" and puzzle element that can have me playing long after the storymode is finished. Also it was made by just two ppl! Kudos to u guys!
there is a nice story to the game and you work in the supermarket working at the till/register and you scan the items and put them in the catergories and then you get points and maybe even sticker
Cute and fun :3
