Игра 'Chaotic Loop' – это захватывающая головоломка, которая бросает вызов вашему пространственному мышлению и умению планировать. Простая на первый взгляд механика быстро усложняется, заставляя искать нестандартные решения. Переплетение уровней и необходимость возвращаться к уже пройденным этапам создает ощущение круговорота, что отлично отражено в названии. Плюсы: минималистичный, но стильный визуальный дизайн, приятная музыка, идеально подходящая к медитативному геймплею, и, конечно же, продуманные и сложные головоломки. Разработчики умело балансируют между понятными правилами и непредсказуемыми решениями. Минусы: игру можно пройти довольно быстро, и хотелось бы больше уровней. Также в некоторых моментах решение кажется слишком очевидным, что немного снижает ощущение удовлетворения от разгадки. В целом, 'Chaotic Loop' – это отличная головоломка, которая определенно стоит вашего времени. Если вы любите игры, требующие логики и креативного мышления, то она вам точно понравится. Рекомендую!

Very short 2d game, nothing much to say about it apart that it's very fun

"Chaotic Loop" is a badly made 2D platformer with a gimmick, each time you try a level something changes. Is this a good idea? Nope. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. This is only free in a rudimentary sense... the developer has their hand out for a $2 USD "donation" for this as you're expected to buy some extra skin DLC from Steam... digital panhandling. Like the homeless guys who splash dirty water on your windscreen at the traffic lights. No thanks. They were charging money for this, too, which is a bit of a laugh... they made it free(ish) apart from the panhandling, which is a nice gesture but also shows this wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product... and it's not good enough to succeed, why would you want to download it? Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.

EDIT 2024: The game received multiple updates and became free to play. I thought I'd update the review here: Absolutely cool game with a wonderful style. It still gets nice updates quite regularly.
