Steam brulica di sviluppatori indie che hanno le capacità di trasmetterci incubi, angosce, inquietudini, e le paure più disparate dello scibile umano. Vidas Salavajus è il creatore di una profilica serie di giochi horror, alcuni di pregevole fattura. Cave of illusions è uno di questi, e, anche se non si eleva a chissà quale capolavoro, la sua ambientazone surreale lo rende affascinante e particolarmente inquietante. Interpretando una bambina di nome Sophie saremo intrappolati all'interno di un gioco da tavolo, nel quale, tramite lancio di dadi dovremo attraversare le caselle che corrisponderanno ai vari livelli orrorifici da affrontare e poi uscirne illesi, con puzzle ed enigmi da risolvere, oppure, con movimenti corretti per non incappare in presenze malefiche ed inquietanti. Cave of illusions, nonostante una longevità di playtime piuttosto breve, ed una certa linearità di azione, è una esperienza surreale originale che merita sicuramente di essere giocata da tutti gli appassionati di titoli horror Steam is teeming with indie developers who have the ability to transmit nightmares, anguish, anxiety, and the most disparate fears of human knowledge. Sinceramente, el juego es raro. Eso no quiere decir que sea malo, sino que es algo distinto a lo que estamos acostumbrados. Es un tablero que, cuando caes en casilla con letras, tienes una prueba que realizar. Siempre con atmósfera de terror. Lo malo es que no tiras el dado, sino que está predestinado. Está entretenido para el precio que tiene, pero no esperéis un juego con mucha exploración, sino que es todo lineal.

Scary Scuffed Games #260 https://twitch.tv/DitoMido Vorgeschlagen von: winter_fox8 Endlich wieder ein Schritt in die Richtung wie ich die Vidas Games kenne und mag, hier merkt man wieder die Absurdität und Kreativität die ich so an Vidas Spielen mag. Zwar finde ich den Vorgänger nach wie vor besser, allerdings fand ich Visuell diesen Teil hier sehr ansprechen und es gab einige Effekte die ich wirklich mochte. Es hat zwar nich geschafft mich zu erschreckem, dafür konnte ich das ein oder andere mal lachen und war daher trotz allem amüsiert. Wie man sieht muss es nicht immer super edgy sein, und ich mag wie mit Perspektiven hier gespielt wird. While the story may have left me scratching my head since i did not play the first, the gameplay of 'Cave of Illusions: Twistyland' left an incredible impression. It's rare to find a game that hooks me immediatley, but oddly enough, 'Twistyland' manages to do just that. If you're looking for an unexpectedly addictive gaming experience, look no further than the twisting corridors of 'Twistyland'." Short playthough but worth it in my opinion. First Vidas Game for me :) i enjoyed it. The first 2 Jumpscares really got me. I love the feverdream-feel and the look of the game reminds me of surreal dreams i have sometimes. The horse is cool :))
