Hidden Cats vs Zombies 3, как несложно догадаться – это продолжение двух предыдущих частей игры на поиск предметов. Основная отличительная черта – отстрел зомби, которых надо находить. Наш герой пришёл на охоту с винтовкой, но без патронов. Опять. Так что, как и в предыдущих частях, сперва ищем коробку с боеприпасами, а потом уже спокойно тыкаем в зомбяка. Помимо нежити на уровне спрятаны также и коты с бутылками молока. Коты на сей раз разделены на две категории. Первая – обычные зашуганные, спрятавшиеся по углам волосатые морды. Тут всё просто – увидел – тыкнул. А вот вторых уже засунули в клетки-переноски. Чтобы закончить поиск каждого такого кота, сперва надо найти ключ от клетки. Дизайн зомби и котов перекочевал из предыдущих частей. Котов в клетках раньше не было, так что их дизайн – новенький. Музыка также уже была в этой серии игр. В принципе, за счёт новой игровой механики можно простить повторяющихся котов и зомби. Так что Hidden Cats vs Zombies 3 – это хорошая короткая игра на поиск зверушек. But rest assured, this is still an impartial review written as if I had bought the game myself. 😋 If you’ve dipped your toes into the wonderfully weird Hidden Cats vs Zombies universe before, this third entry will feel instantly familiar: one big hand-drawn map, a pile of things to find, and the eternal battle of “aww cute kitty” vs “pew-pew zombie.” It’s quick (like, four-minutes-to-100% quick), but it keeps the charm and cozy-chaotic energy Sons of Welder does best. The new mechanic, where you free cats from crates using keys, is genuinely adorable… though the crates themselves might want to try hiding next time. They’re basically waving at you like, “Hi! Please click me!” The pros are all here: lovely art, a great zoom, a save system (even though you won’t need it), unlimited hints that nudge your camera instead of spoiling the answer, and a good mix of items to spot. The series is still as lighthearted and handmade as ever. There are no penalties for misclicks, and the hint achievement gives a tiny layer of “if you want that badge, don’t press the shiny button.” But like the earlier entries, the tiny runtime raises a big question: is four minutes worth the price tag? [h3]Снова расстреливаем котиков и зомби, уже в третий раз![/h3] Третья часть прикольной и нескучной Hidden игры, где нам нужно застрелить 60 котиков, 40 зомби и 10 банок с молоком. Для стрельбы по зомби нужны патроны, берутся из ящика. Котиков стреляем без патронов потому что мы живодёры [spoiler](ну вообще то мы их спасаем, но выглядит так будто расстреливаем)[/spoiler]. The zombie series of [i]Sons of Welder[/i] continues, this time with an additional task: you have to find some keys so that you can click on the cats locked in a cage. The rest is the usual: click on the cats and shoot the zombies. For the latter you first need to find ammo boxes. Oh, and there are some milk bottles. All this on a single level with nice, hand-drawn graphics. Recommended!

[h1]Do these zombies ever stop? lol[/h1] [h2]Introduction[/h2] [i]Hidden Cats vs Zombies 3[/i] is a hidden object game developed and published by Sons of Welder and FM Simple Games. As the name states, it is the third game in the [i]Hidden Cats vs Zombies[/i] series, but you don't need to have played the previous games. As usual, you're in a zombie apocalypse, and the zombies have invaded a military base. (Not sure if it's the same base as from the second game. lol) Your mission is to eliminate the zombies and rescue the cats. XD As for the gameplay, the mechanics work almost the same as in the second game. There's only one scene with the one default difficulty setting. You can zoom in and out of the scene by scrolling the mouse wheel. With zombies, you have to shoot at them with bullets that you find in ammunition boxes scattered across the base by clicking on the left mouse button. With cats, you can click on most of them with the left mouse button. However, a few are trapped in locked crates. You'll need to find keys and then click on the locked crates to free the cats, again by clicking the left mouse button. Also, there are the usual milk bottles, but no changes have been made as to how to get them. All achievements are obtainable, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "Steam is learning about this game". [h2]Review[/h2] After feeling slightly let down by the previous game (even though I still enjoyed it), I went into this game, hoping that there would be some improvements, additions, etc. What did I find out? With the gameplay, it's mostly the same as in the previous game. However, I was happily surprised to see that the devs added a new feature in which a few cats are locked in crates and that keys are needed to unlock them. I like that there's a bit of variety now. Although the gameplay time will probably still be short for those who have played lots of HOGs, it can be a bit challenging to find a couple of the keys since they can appear very small. Fortunately, zooming in is a function that's present, so it helps to find those elusive objects. It's very possible to get all the achievements in one playthrough, especially if you choose to not use the hint feature. As for the art, the style is the same as in the previous games. I like that the same artist is being kept around to help create these fun backgrounds and sprites. The zombies look comedical and the cats are cute and funny at times. If you're looking for a short but fun hidden object game set in a zombie apocalypse in which you have to rescue cats (ok, I know that's very specific lol), you especially like the HOGs by this developer, and/or you're wanting to get all those Steam achievements, then it's worth checking out. Depending on the price, you may either choose to get it straight away (especially if you're a fan) or wait for a sale. 8/10 Hidden Cats vs Zombies 3 is a hidden cat game with a post-apocalyptic twist. Short, easy, with lots of achievements and hand drawn artwork. My takeaway: The third installment of the Hidden Cats vs Zombies series, clearly they did something right and gave us another! Like other Hidden Cats type games, you pan through a panel of intricate well-done artwork and click on the cats hidden throughout the picture. Unlike other Hidden Cat games, you must also defeat some zombies by finding ammo cases and subsequently shooting the zombies. It took me around 5 minutes to complete this game with all achievements. Hidden Cats vs Zombies expands on the other games in this series by adding caged up kitties and bottles of milk. You find the keys, unlock the cage, and the locked up cats then add to your total. I like that it isn’t a copy paste of the previous games and tries to add something; so I added an additional point from my initial review of Hidden Cats vs Zombies 2. The ammo finding and zombie killing mechanic was a fun twist on other hidden object games and was pretty fun! The cats were challenging enough, the artwork was good for the one panel provided, I didn't encounter any bugs while playing, and the sound effects, music, and UI all suited the game. Achievements are easy to obtain and the game itself is very short. That being said- the game is very short. For what it is it’s fine, especially considering it’s free. You search for (sometimes) hard to see cats and keys. And very easy to find crates and zombies. To add just a little bit of amusement you shoot the zombies when you find them (no blood) with bullets sourced from the crates. Meanwhile keys allow you to free the cats. The art is clearly hand drawn, although there's some significant Photoshop work, and the music is pleasant. The art style is amusing and it's often funny where the cats have shown up. In the unlikely case that you can't find everything, there's even a hint option. But here's the thing: There's only one image, and at best it's gonna take you 15 minutes to finish it. That's a pretty small amount of game time for the price, even when the game is on sale. Of course only you can decide what's worth it to you, Mr. Money BAGS. I would rate this higher if it had even just two or three levels. Final note: mostly playable with a touch screen, however you do need to use the keyboard for panning/zooming. With a standard three button mouse it's possible to play with just a mouse. The same is true theoretically with a laptop trackpad although I don't think it would be very pleasant. Although proper 100% touch screen controls would be a very nice touch, I am satisfied with the controls as they stand.
