About
Our mission is to elevate digital art by providing a beautifully curated, high-class virtual museum where every piece is given the space and respect it deserves. We showcase art from around the world in immersive, thoughtfully designed environments—free to explore and free to submit. In a digital world where artwork is often lost in endless feeds, we offer a dedicated space where each artist’s voice can stand out and be truly seen. We plan to add new curated exhibits regularly.
If you’re a digital artist—whether you create images, 3D objects, music, VFX, or other digital formats—we invite you to be part of this immersive, high-class platform designed to make art stand out, not get lost in a feed. Please Submit your art on our Catch Sunlight Museum Website.
We welcome creativity in many forms—but please note that we reserve the right to curate and display submissions as we see best for the overall experience.
This idea of integrating a museum into a game is a phenomenal idea!

I was won over by the "August 2025 museum"! The idea of walking freely in another time from long ago won me over! But, besides the graphics and the freedom to admire the graphics of this game with all the elements, gardens and small hidden details, I wanted only one thing: to be able to enter random houses, but unfortunately this was not possible!
I would recommend a few changes regarding the controls: [olist] [*]I would prefer to look freely using the mouse movement! Not by using click and moving the mouse! [*]And to interact with different things I would use the "e" key! [/olist]

Catch Sunlight Museum is a walking simulator casual game as you walk around and look at art and get some info on the art the art they show on here are good but in order to get info on the art you will have to walk right in the info box and the game will stop and open up a window to a web pegs to see about the art it good it show info on the art and all but the game should have say or ask you to open up a window pegs before you open up a window pegs for all i know it take me to a random web site and for all i know it take me to a bad and not safe web pegs and there are two place to go to one in a Museum room and the other is a outside place 3 if you count the main menu room for the outside place you can fall out of the map if you walk off of it the music not great it play the same over and over and it get old very fast as for moving around in order to look up down left or right whit the mouse you have to hold down the right click button this game need to have it set to move it freely not a bad game but not that great
Catch Sunlight Museum is a really relaxing little experience that feels more like visiting a virtual art gallery than playing a traditional game. I walk around different museum spaces and outdoor areas, looking at artwork and taking my time with each piece. I liked the basic idea because it gives digital artwork room to breathe instead of throwing lots of things at me at once. It is a very simple concept, but there is something surprisingly pleasant about just wandering around and looking at things. The main thing I enjoyed is the exploration. The museum is presented in first person, so I can walk around the exhibits and approach individual pieces to learn more about them. Each artwork has information about its title and creator, which makes the experience feel a little more educational. I liked being able to stop whenever something caught my attention instead of having to follow a strict path through the exhibits. There is also a scavenger hunt connected to the museum exhibits, which gives me something specific to do while exploring. Instead of only looking at whatever I happen to notice, I can search for particular pieces of art hidden around the exhibition spaces. I thought this was a nice addition because it turns the museum into a very simple exploration game without taking away from its relaxing atmosphere. The outdoor area is another part I liked. Being able to step outside the traditional gallery space and explore a more open environment gives the experience a little more variety. The realistic 3D presentation works well here, especially when combined with the calm atmosphere. I could easily imagine spending more time exploring if there were additional areas and exhibits to discover. The biggest weakness for me is the limited amount of content. The current version has only a small selection of curated exhibits, so I reached the end of what was available fairly quickly. That is understandable because the game is designed as an Early Access project, and the whole idea depends on regularly adding new exhibitions. Still, I think more variety would make a huge difference because the concept itself has plenty of potential. I also found some of the controls and interactions a little awkward. Looking around requires a more deliberate mouse movement than I would normally expect, and some of the information interactions are not as smooth as they could be. There are also moments where the environment feels more like a simple virtual space than a fully polished museum. None of this completely ruins the experience, but it does remind me that the game is still being developed. Overall, I think Catch Sunlight Museum is a nice idea that succeeds mainly because it does not try to be something it is not. It is a quiet place to explore artwork, learn a little about what I am looking at and complete a simple scavenger hunt. I would definitely like to see more exhibits and more interesting spaces added in the future because the basic concept works well. As it stands, it is a peaceful and unusual free experience that I enjoyed spending some time with. Rating 6.7/10
