steam移植という観点からいうと前作の式神の城1 は若干ボケボケな印象があったけど、本作は全編ポリゴンということもあるのか高解像度にもバッチリ対応している気がします。 ゲームとしては当時のアーケード時代から思っていたのですが斑鳩の影響を受けているフシがあって、ギミックが凝らされている印象を受けます。特に３面が顕著です。私はそれをプレイしたくて買いました。 式神の城3は当時プレイした記憶がないのですが、ここまで来たらぜひsteamで発売してほしいものです。 追記: 私はXbox360の有線パッドを使っていて、パッチが当たっていたためか特に不具合は感じなかったのですが、パッドのコンフィグ場面がボタン1～9 みたいに数字で表されているので若干わかりにくいかもしれません。

Shiki 2 rules, and this is a great version. The backgrounds and artwork looks fantastic given this game's age. The new arrange mode is a nice challenge as well. The scoring mechanics are like being a fly surrounded bug zappers, who just so happen to be offering cookies. The light is your friend. You must hug it. Watch those huge 8x multipliers roll in, but get too close and zzap! Fun and functional risk-vs-reward that's easy to understand. The varied cast offers a lot to experiment with, as they all have their unique weapons and game mechanics. And of course, the dialog is fun (and get better when you have two characters selected). There's plenty to try out for newcomers and experienced players alike.

This is actually a really good port! Seeing this game running natively at higher resolutions looks great. I'm playing it on a 144hz monitor an I haven't experienced any odd glitches or bugs. I'm not amazing at this game by any means but it seems to be a better way to play it than the us PS2 version. Heres hoping for a port of Shikigami 3!

This game is pretty good, but remember that you only have two options when playing it: A.Beaten and caught B.Caught and beaten

The new translation is fine. This was ported using the source code from the arcade game as far as I understand, which is good. It has an arrange soundtrack and the original to choose from and screen rotation options. I haven't felt like any basic feature is missing. The devs have also released several patches since release to fix small details.

PS2版を持っているので、不要と云えば不要なのですが… 　・実績付きは別腹 　・PCで遊べるようにしておきたい 　・PC版『式神の城』がWin11で起動しなくなった。 という三点でこちらを購入。 　ゲーム性・バランスとしては、PCスペックが足りていないのか？FPSと敵弾の速度…これで合っているのか？と少し疑問だが…シューティング下手でも、なんとかなるレベルになっていると感じます。 　申し訳ないが『サイキックフォース１もしくは２＠タイトー』な成分が欲しくなった際の代替品…体調は四段階ほど、外部的要因で落とされ、再クリアまでは時間は掛かりそうだが、ある意味リハビリ替わりの目標ライン的な意味合いで、STGジャンルを再購入している一面もある。 　STGの中でも、「システムは独特」「世界観は特徴的」だしで「おすすめ」である。 　STGはハイスコア狙いで無ければ楽しめる者が多いはずなのだが…昭和の固定概念(STG＝ノーミスノーボムハイスコア狙いでクリア)がゲームシステム的に拡張性の可能性を盲目的にさせるデメリットになっているような気も…。
