CarX Street

I feel like this game is pretty underrated. It does a lot of what modern NFS tries to do, and in some areas I'd argue it does it better. The map is honestly amazing, it's large and fun to explore and also dense enough that driving around doesn't feel repetitive. It has everything you'd want in a Forza Horizon game, city streets, highways, touge, circuits, and meeting spots. The physics are very arcade in a good way. It's not a sim, and it doesn't need to be. The driving feels responsive, it is fun, and challenging/satisfying enough to keep you playing. The customization and car variety (due to the fact it doesn't have licensed cars) is also way better than what most racing games offer these days, especially for the price. It's far from perfect, though. The AI voice acting is pretty bad, and the music is super mid. Public race events are full of cheaters, in my experience the game is much better when played offline or with friends. Still, for the price, this is a genuinely good racing game that doesn't get enough credit.
