Carrier is a mobile-app tier minimalist/retro action puzzle game where you must rotate a growing circle while ensuring the green blobs at points on your circle don't hit the red baddy blobs while making sure they do hit the green blobs that your ever expanding circle approaches. Whatever. The ultra minimalist nature of the game, ugly visuals, and incredibly shallow gameplay puts this on par with or below the average quality of mobile apps and browser/Flash games, and yet for some reason this has been launched on Steam instead, for no apparent reason other than to pollute the store and lower the average quality of games on Steam. Mission successful. I think this was probably developed as a mobile app but rejected by the app stores because they have higher quality standards than Valve does. While this is free, it should never have been put on Steam, it would be more appropriate for this to be put on the app stores where the mobile peasants can enjoy what they would consider to be highly rich and complex gameplay.
Carrier is a relaxing game that still offers tense and exciting moments. The background music is calming and reminisent of drinking cola on the hood of your car in 1987. Its a great game to play for those looking for a puzzle/reaction time challenge. It gives the feeling of reaching out for a connection with the rest of the world, only to have it brutally taken away by evil red cell phone jamming devices. Its also great to play while waiting for a lobby in other games, or while your friend goes to take a piss while playing a multiplayer game. Would highly recommend.
Cool puzzle game. very relaxing...
The game is pretty nice) If it was on Android or iOS it could be a good game to play in public transport while going home
xD
"CARRIER HAS ARRIVED" At first it seems like a fun game with a cool art style and idea, but it's also absolutely infuriating if you're prone to gamer rage like I am. If you fail an average of 100 times per level and there are 30 levels, that's 3000 instances of rage, well over the threshold for heart attacks, hoarse voices, terrified family members, punched walls, and broken peripherals. That said, I found that I could not brute force and scream my way through the levels - the only way to pass them was to clear my mind, calm down, and think. And even then, it's excruciatingly hard. I finished level 15 before quitting writing this review. Despite its positive aspects, I cannot recommend this game to anyone due to its poor collision detection, which frequently caused me to fail at times that I know I hadn't failed. Much like another type of Carrier, this game is almost impossible to defeat. EDIT 10/15/22: If I recall correctly, I eventually opened regedit to edit the game files and have all levels display as completed. So I won! Sort of.

It's pretty loaded for a free game. Controls are simple, UI is simple, goal is simple, has good graphics, and can get pretty tricky. Good game. It's worth installing, but you should make a phone version.
