Really good ZX Spectrum style adventure game.
Grew up playing ZX Spectrum games and this is a lovely blast back to that past. Nice selection of find-objects-to-solve-puzzle problems that all make sense. So no need to try every object with every other object (something that plagued some of these type of games). Would also be a good one to play through with your kid, solving the puzzles together.
Petit jeu d'aventure, avec objet à crafter pour avancer,il faut chercher pour avancer.J'aime bien!

This game is a setting mood antidepressant of murky swamp waters cutting your stone bridge head off
This is a nice little nostalgia-inducing game that should appeal to all fans of Speccy type games, especially Dizzy. However, this has the advantage of: puzzles that make sense (mostly), infinite lives, save points, some nice music and achievements. The save points are a welcome addition, that make completing the game possible. Overall - great game that's fun to play for a few hours. I heard there's a sequel, so looking forward to that.
Captain MaCaw is a throwback to the great 8-Bit puzzle adventures such as Codemasters' Dizzy series. Great puzzles and a Piratey story are carried along by a touch of humour and earworm-inducing melodies. The ZX Spectrum palette has even been used to add to the nostalgia. Infinite lives and a save option are available so you're also much more likely to see the ending too. This game is a hidden gem!
If Tigger was a pirate he would be Captain MaCaw, this guy must have springs for legs the amount he loves to bounce about all over the place, a brilliant little game a labour of love you could say to the spectrum days and dizzy egg ect, easy to follow, funny, some nice puzzles and puns, completely xbox controller compatible, did i mention the soundtrack? Go on mention the soundtrack... it will be stuck in your head for days while you are bopping around your house, this review is all over the shop or well island in the case of Cap adventures aplenty reminding me of treasure island go on give it a go you won't regret it as long as he doesn't suddenly meet Seaman Stains or Master Bates in his next adventures but you never know who might turn up.. 10/10
