Its beautiful, truly beautiful. I do not believe there is anything else in the world that can compare to this, truly masterful. At first the violence seen in the game play trailers holds a sense of cruelty and barbarity, as if both the gorilla and the frogs are all mystics of violence, hate, bloodshed and nothing else. Ohohoooo! but my fellow primates, we were truly mistaken. You see, the frogs were leaping towards the ape because they were so happy to see him come home from the war but since the ape is still on edge due to all the fighting and his primal instincts, he immediately saw the oncoming horde as the many bloodthirsty baboons from the war-torn savanna and acted in self defense. But what makes this all so beautiful is that both the gorilla and the frogs forgave each other, these beautiful creatures have maintained there strong bond through thick and thin and understand each others struggles and make each other's lives truly wonderful. Now to you I may seem as just a lowly "Jungle Monkey!!", but please I beg of you to give this gam- NAY! work of art a chance, for their sake. Thank you, thank you all for listening - Jungle Monkey!!
Extremely difficult; This game is like scraping your testicles with a hot fork. The description is all you really need to know to understand the complex backstory and deep seated lore that this game holds. I can already feel my reaction times getting faster the more I play. 8.5/10.
Legit more difficult than Dark Souls
This game is a timeless masterpiece. The lore is probably the deepest thing I've delved into since your mom's private area; the characters are fully fleshed out and the chemistry between the gorilla and the frog just works so well. As for gameplay, it's tight and always provides an incredible challenge. The disaster difficulty is nightmarish and always keeps you on your toes. All in all, Captain Frogger offers something for everyone, definitely not something to sleep on.

指とマウスと大量のカエルを犠牲にして世界ランカーになれるゲーム。
Captain Frogger is an unusual indie action game that thrives on a simple yet amusing concept. Developed and published by flapper3 inc., the game builds its entire identity around a humorous scenario involving a gorilla and an overly affectionate group of frogs. Rather than focusing on an elaborate story or complex mechanics, it embraces absurdity and turns a straightforward idea into a lighthearted arcade experience. Its charm comes from the way it commits to this bizarre premise, creating a game that feels both playful and refreshingly different from many traditional action titles. The gameplay revolves around managing increasingly chaotic encounters as frogs continuously leap toward the gorilla. Although the frogs mean no harm and simply want to express their affection, the gorilla's reactions create the central conflict. This setup leads to frantic situations where timing, movement, and quick decision-making become essential. The controls are easy to grasp, making the game accessible to players of all skill levels, but the growing number of frogs ensures that maintaining control becomes progressively more challenging. The simplicity of the mechanics works in the game's favor, allowing players to focus on the fast-paced action without needing to learn complicated systems. Visually, Captain Frogger adopts a colorful and cartoon-inspired presentation that perfectly complements its comedic nature. Character animations are exaggerated and expressive, helping to sell the humor of every interaction. The contrast between the frogs' friendly intentions and the gorilla's desperate attempts to push them away creates a steady stream of amusing moments. While the graphics are not particularly advanced, the art direction succeeds in making the game memorable and enjoyable to watch. The cheerful aesthetic also keeps the atmosphere light, ensuring that the gameplay remains fun rather than stressful. One of the game's greatest strengths is its ability to generate entertainment from unpredictability. As more frogs enter the action, situations become increasingly chaotic, and players often find themselves laughing at unexpected outcomes. The physics-driven interactions contribute significantly to this appeal, making each session feel slightly different from the last. The game encourages experimentation and rewards players who learn how to adapt to the escalating madness. This unpredictability gives the experience a level of replay value despite its relatively simple structure. However, Captain Frogger's greatest strength is also one of its limitations. The game is heavily centered on a single core idea, and while that idea is entertaining, it may not provide enough variety for everyone. Players looking for deep progression systems, extensive content, or a long-term gameplay experience may find the overall package somewhat limited. The game is best enjoyed as a casual and humorous arcade title rather than a feature-rich adventure. Its appeal largely depends on how much enjoyment players get from its quirky concept and repetitive but amusing gameplay loop. Even with its modest scope, Captain Frogger succeeds because it understands exactly what it wants to be. It delivers a focused experience built around comedy, accessible gameplay, and charming absurdity. Rather than trying to compete with larger productions, it embraces its indie roots and offers something genuinely distinctive. The result is a game that may not appeal to every player but provides a memorable and entertaining experience for those who appreciate unconventional ideas and lighthearted fun. Rating: 6/10
