The absolute best
Underrated gem! Captain Forever Trilogy is a collection of Captain Forever series flash games (Captain Forever, Captain Successor, and Captain Impostor). All three of them have different mechanics, but play similar to each other. You fight various ships and expand your own ship from detached parts.
Like the other negative reviews have said: you don't truly get a chance to enjoy the game because you are constantly being thrown enemies. I remember playing a similar flash game years ago (may this may have been it), but I vaguely remember the enemies also fighting each other and there being safe zones for you to put yourself back together. This game just isn't it. My curator page
This game is unique, and addictively fun! Highly recommend.
好吧,看来并没有国人注意到这款游戏(总之它真的很有趣啦 I have spent a long time playing it on browser. In browser version, players can craft module. But on steam we cant! I sincerely hope the developers can include this part I love the most. So if you're here for the browser version, then I suggest not buying it, as the gameplay and feel are completely different. btw the browser version is at https://iogames.space/captain-forever
“You know I can’t be a captain forever,” Captain Farbs said before blowing up causing a sector wide explosion.
Developer has pronouns in his bio. Also the game sucks.

Went from playable to unplayably laggy.
Captain Forever is a fun simple little game - it does get a little boring once you've got the max level parts for your ship and you become pretty much unstoppable. Captain Successor is an extremely frustrating game. You spend what feels like an eternity looking for an enemy, get into a fight, and then get jumped by higher level ships. It tries to innovate by introducing new thrusters and weapons but half of them are so utterly useless you're better off restarting then trying to fight with them. To add on to the frustration I can never find the parts I need, I'm always in need of thrusters but the game never spawns equal level enemies with parts I don't have. Captain Imposter is gimmicky and a bit too easy.
