**Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is one of the better entries in the newer COD era.** The campaign is easily the highlight for me. It feels darker, more grounded, and more serious than a lot of other Call of Duty games, with some genuinely intense missions and memorable moments. The gunplay is excellent, the weapons feel powerful, and the sound design makes every firefight feel brutal. The visuals also still hold up really well. My biggest issue is that the overall experience can feel bloated with the COD launcher, huge downloads, constant updates, and unnecessary menus getting in the way of just playing the game. But when you actually get into the campaign, it reminds you why Modern Warfare is such a strong name in the series. **Great campaign, amazing gunplay, strong atmosphere — just buried under too much unnecessary COD clutter.** Definitely worth playing for the story alone.
