This is a game, with a quirky theme. It plays like twin-stick top-down action adventure. On easy and medium modes it is very kids friendly. On hard mode a lot tougher (I've heard there is an even harder mode to unlock). Weapon combos are great fun. I've played quite a few couch-coop sessions with my two sons. We hooked up xbox controllers to the PC, and connected it to the big TV. This is where the game really shines. I recommend playing it coop with 2-3 players.
10/10. One old weird trick with regular household items - The military hates him.
Super fun & charming game. Great idea with the weird combination weapons.
Great game to play with your kid! I play Calcium Chaos with my 5 year old daughter and we are having a blast. I have tried a lot of different games to co-op with her, and while CC does have a few usability quirks that would make me put down the game if playing on my own, it is just perfect for her and she enjoys the humour and feels really powerful, reminding me of playing these flawed gems of my youth.
Decent enough twin stick shooter. The high points are the music soundtrack and coop support. The low points is that the writing and character development feels rather weak. The gameplay is par. Most of the games in this genre with better gameplay (Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop, Kill Knight) are grittier and dark, so it's nice to have a cutesy themed one, though if that's your jam, it's worth also checking out Assault Android Cactus. If you're just looking for great gameplay, you're better off with Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop and Kill Knight. But if you've exhausted those, or are looking for something cuter, this game is a good runner up.
Full review: https://www.screenhype.co.uk/calcium-chaos-derailed-review-skeletons-feathers-and-absolute-mayhem/ I am so, so glad I got to play this game. Calcium Chaos: Derailed is light-hearted, fun, humourous, and enjoyable to play. It's got that old-school arcade feel, but with modern graphics, and the style matches the tone of the game perfectly. The only issues I found were the slight repetitiveness (especially in the audio switches between exploring and fighting). I also would have liked a bit more backstory in the introduction, but that's just my preference for games - I'm typically a narrative game player.

Even when you lose, you can start again pretty fast, that makes it a good game for just some time playing. I didn't try the multiplayer part or the unstuck option. I guess that it can be useful when we have an issue, but I didn't notice any bug or issue during my play through. In short, if you want a funny game that got some customization and multiple weapons, go for it. ---{Information}--- Template source: https://github.com/Lemrac/game-review-evaluation-sheet Curator page: https://store.steampowered.com/curator/38087514/
After 6.9 hours I can say that it is not a difficult game, but the story and gameplay are fun. Sometimes you are unlucky with the randomizer and have bad weapons in a round. The best are the chicken, the party popper and the soap bubbles. All in all I can recommend the game but would buy it on sale. I had it twice that I pushed the opponent down with the party popper, all the opponents were defeated, but the path was blocked because the game thought there was still an opponent alive. What is mean is that when you go into the menu of the backpack the game does not pause and the opponents can continue to attack you.
Super fun o jogo para jogar com amigos, Com remote play é fácil jogar com amigos. Recomendo Muito
