super bad couldnt even play the game it was so laggy when i went in menu it went to normal and then when i go back it goes back to bad do no recemmon
I've played this game for just over an hour now, and I have to say this game has a lot of potential. It is really fun but at the same time very buggy. I was able to run the game at ultra but the game couldn't handle itself and i had to bring it down to high. Holding 2 handed weapons doesn't work or feel very well, the mp7 is an exception. You cannot hold handguns with 2 hands unfortunately and i feel that needs to be added. I also think the character should be less flimsy because moving back and fourth effects the weapon in your hand. I also found that some walls can be clipped through but i think it only happens in slow motion. I have yet to play this with my friend but hopefully i will soon. Overall i do like this game and i recommend it. It is a fair price for what it offers though i received it for $.50

CAEDES is a brutal VR shooter that I found pretty entertaining once I got comfortable with the controls. The whole game is built around shooting enemies in close range while making use of physics, dual wielding and slow motion. It has a very direct approach to action, and I liked that I could pick up a rifle, shotgun or pistol and immediately start causing chaos. It feels like the kind of VR game that is more interested in making me feel powerful than telling a complicated story. The gunplay is easily the strongest part for me. I can use rifles, pistols, shotguns and SMGs, and being able to dual wield almost any weapon makes the combat feel much more physical than a normal shooter. Reloading is also something I have to actually pay attention to, so running out of ammunition in the middle of a fight can quickly become a problem. I enjoyed the feeling of physically handling the weapons rather than simply pressing a reload button. The slow motion ability is probably the most fun mechanic in the game. I can alter the flow of time and slow everything down when a fight gets intense, which gives me the chance to react to enemies and line up shots more carefully. It can also make certain moments look completely ridiculous when bullets and enemies are moving in slow motion around me. I liked having that extra tool because it gives the combat a little more depth than simply shooting everything as quickly as possible. The physics also add a lot to the experience. Enemies react to being shot with fairly exaggerated ragdoll effects, and the whole thing has a much more physical feeling because I am interacting with the weapons and environment directly. The game is definitely not shy about blood and violent effects, so it is much more suited to someone who is comfortable with that kind of content. For me, the exaggerated violence fits the chaotic action reasonably well. The biggest problem is that CAEDES feels fairly rough in places. The environments and visual presentation are not always particularly polished, and some effects can become distracting. I also found that the VR controls take a little time to get used to, especially when I am trying to manage weapons, ammunition and movement during a hectic fight. It is the kind of game where the basic idea is more impressive than the overall level of polish. I also think the game could have benefited from more variety. The shooting is fun, but after spending enough time with it, I wanted more different situations and reasons to keep playing. The inclusion of online co op and a level editor does give the game some extra potential, but the core experience still feels like a relatively straightforward VR shooter. It is much easier for me to enjoy in short sessions than as something I would play for hours at a time. Overall, CAEDES is a fun free VR shooter with some genuinely enjoyable mechanics. I liked dual wielding different weapons, physically reloading them, using slow motion and watching the physics based combat unfold around me. The rough presentation and limited variety stop it from feeling like a truly polished VR experience, but there is still plenty of satisfying shooting here. If I want a simple and violent VR shooter that lets me mess around with guns and time manipulation, I think CAEDES is worth trying. Rating: 7.1/10
