Just typing this while waiting for my cards to 'evolve'. Which can take several hours or even days for the higher level ones. Honestly, if you're going to design a game, LET ME PLAY IT. Don't make it so I have to wait for hours to increase the power of my deck, to play more PVP games or fuse my cards. These are some of the absolute most toxic design mechanics possible and do not belong in anything that wants to label itself a 'game'. It's a shame too because the game itself does have some potential. The card design is alright and the automated battles wouldn't be much of an issue...that is, if you could at least choose the order your cards are played in. But you can't. Your cards are played randomly which means that instead of working out a cohesive plan for battles, you basically just have to hope and pray that your cards come out in an order that doesn't totally screw you over. Again, completely unnecessary. Overall the game has some potential and the rate at which is gives out cards is actually generous...but some truly sad design choices are preventing any shot this might have at getting a positive recommendation.
I'm currently #4 on the worldwide PvP ladder in this game. As you can see by my time spent in this game, I really tried to like it. It's a fun browser game concept. BUT you asked for $$$ after essentially everything you do. You can still have fun, but it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying. Which would be something I could life with, if this game was more than a cash in. There's so much wrong: - At some point PvE simply ends. You LITERALLY can't fight a single battle anymore. - You can only fight 5 PvP battles/ hours without paying $$$ => You have less than 2 minutes of actual card fights per hour - You have to wait 4~5 minutes after you die to try fighting again (or you start with half HP) - Cards have incredibly poor balancing, being #4 on the worldwide leaderboard I can tell you that PvP at this level is about who gets enough lucky card drops to craft as many high level Bies and Zeppelins per deck as possible. Literally everybody who can uses them. The devs don't give a ratsa55 about balancing. - The devs don't give a cr4p about fixing anything actually. I added the Publisher's Dev account (BISBOG) to my friend list: Slightly more than one month post release has passed at this point and he hasn't logged into Steam for 25 days.... - Did I mention what incredible grind this is? For each additonal card level you need 2 units of the next lower level. The highest card level I have seen so far is 14. So if you wanted to craft a level 14 creature through level 1 units you would need 2^14=16.384 copies of it. The average card level you get at lategame is 4~5 for ~3 hours of PvP if you're within the top 20 players, or A LOT more if you're at a low PvP rank. Now imagine you want to have several max level copies of it.... Not to mention crafting: - "Crafting" means combining cards here: 2 Basic cards form a SPECIFIC silver card, two silver cards a SPECIFIC gold card. So in the end it's not crafting in a way "I get the unit that I want to play with", but "those cards aren't avilable directly through booster packs". Which ultimately means that you need 4 times the amount of leveled cards to craft a golden max level card than you'ld need to craft a max level basic card (which would be 4*16.384=65.536 level one cards) For ONE copy. Now imagine you actually want to use a certain gold card, but also one of the basic cards which are needed for crafting it... While all basic cards are completely up to booster RNG. This game had potential. Greed and neglaction ruined it.

Original Cabals was a pretty smart, challenging and interesting game. This - mindless game for zombies.

Well, I have had many hours of fun trying to level up in this groovy title. I just ran out of content upon reaching rank II. There is strategy, and nail-biting, edge of your couch moments, and there are times you take a break and play something else while you let your high levels take time to level. Looking forward to my first card over the monumental level 10 but will wait for new content that is promised. With NO real end... there isn't a lot of drive to carry on at the moment. BobMan's Final verdit: Definitely try and get your first Tier 2 card. You can do that for free. I think end game and missing content could make this very popular. Note: I would not spend any cash until it is updated IMHO. You do as you wish :) I enjoyed it until the ubrupt halt,
Spyware Warning! This game acts as spyware and performs personal data gathering and transmission. It uses the Red Shell malware/rootkit. This spyware rootkit compromises the integrity of your PC. This spyware rootkit monitors and reports on all aspects of your PC as well as your browsing history, passwords and online activity. There's no way to opt out and you are forced to agree to a non-enforcable agreement which involves the developer selling your private data and profiling you. This is completely unethical and reprehensible. Gamers must be aware of the dangers of installing this harmful software and should avoid this completely.
Cabals: Card Blitz is a P2W/P2Play mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a nasty, greedy cash grab from morally void mobile app developers. It's a basic screen tapper where you spend the first 5-10 minutes of the game with the interface locked to make sure you properly learn how to give the developers your real world money so you can spend the in-game currency and squeal like a good little mobile peasant piggy. While the art assets look deceptively decent, it's just a cheap glossy veneer over an evil cash harvesting hustle, as so many mobile apps are. The focus is more on deckbuilding as there's little strategy once the "game" starts, instead the goal is to spend real world money on unlocking the cards required to win and keep playing. So the game isn't free, it's a P2W/P2P scam. This is PC, not mobile. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming rig so I could pretend it's an iPhone. There are genuinely good free to play games on PC. Then there's cash grab nastiness from mobile game peddlers like this one. Avoid this at all costs. This is just a nasty, predatory attempt at extorting PC gamers because mobile devs got away with extorting mobile peasants and they think they can get some of your money too. Don't give it to them. Because this is basically a mobile scam designed with the intention of compromising PC's with the Red Shell malware, it's impossible to recommend. Extra note: The publisher, BISBOG SA, has ties to Russian asset flippers and other scammers. While reviews must be primarily about games, gamers should be warned when developers and publishers behave unethically or suspiciously.
Crazy game at the begigging, then gets more and more annoying unless you want to spend $ to buy upgrades. The game gets harder and harder, and after a defeat you need to wait more and more minutes before you can challenge the opponent again. It's a "fake free game".
