About
Bullet Maiden: Shoot and Strip is a 2D vertical bullet hell shooting game that pays homage to the doujin shooter Sentimental Shooting.
Weave through dense barrages with precision, utilizing the Light/Dark dual-polarity switching strategy to freely alternate between destroying clothing and taking down enemy aircraft—this gameplay mechanic draws inspiration from the polarity system of the classic masterpiece Ikaruga, but shifts the focus from "attribute countering" to "target selection": in Light mode, bullets pass through enemy ships to hit clothing, gradually stripping away characters' outfits; in Dark mode, bullets target enemy ships and bosses instead, while companion firepower is boosted by 1.5x. Mastering the timely switch between these two modes is the key to clearing stages and achieving high scores.
Rich Game Content
12 uniquely designed playable characters, each with two stages—progressing from casual wear to deeper challenges, culminating in multi-phase boss battles. Destroying clothing components also drops companion (option) power-ups, allowing up to 3 companions to fight alongside you.
Deep Score-Attacking Systems
A combo system (up to 255 hits) grants exponential score multipliers, with a more forgiving timing window as your combo rises. Reaching score milestones awards extra lives. Remaining lives and energy at stage clear are converted into bonus points. Three difficulty levels (Easy/Normal/Hard) cater to players of all skill levels.
