About
Best friends Sammy and Hannah are relaxing after a long day by playing their favorite tabletop role-playing game, Beast Dungeon. When Hannah distractedly pulls out their handheld and starts to play DIGIBUBBLE BEAT DX, gamemaster Sammy devises a crazy and twisted little fusion: BubbleBeast DigiDungeon.
Get into the flow with unique puzzle-rhythm mechanics across 5 vibrant levels! Match colored bubbles to the beat, defuse the Beasts’ attacks, and don't let that combo meter break!
BubbleBeast DigiDungeon is a love letter to handheld console and mobile games of the early 2000s. Lose yourself in the vivid, hand-crafted cast of characters and the bouncy soundtrack inspired by breakbeat, classic RPGs, and 2000s pop. ✧':*✧':*

The game was super cute and I loved it to bits! Using a mouse, the controls are kind of funky, but that's to be expected honestly and it's easy to get a hang of anyways after a bit of trial and error. It's a nice, short rhythm game with awesome music! Also I will be rotating the character design for The Brute in my head for the next three business days.
Short game but neat and fun concept and the artwork is very cute.
stumbled across this at GDC and was absolutely delighted, enough to play through the entire game there then track it down on steam to play it again. really really cute style, and the gameplay is really engaging and fun. also the music is so good omg like genuinely a bop. 10/10 would so seriously recommend

Me and my bestie loved it because of the sonic rush ahh jet set radio ahh sick tunes and the fun lil furry characters xx
Absolute cinema i love the brute
The main characters are endearing and have the playfulness of good friends The music of the main menu is so good you'll actually just stay in the menu The synergy between gameplay and music makes the level immersive The composition is out of this world! Epic, emotional, euphoric, badass and hype awaits you The representation is obvious and the levels and interactions help you see past that and into who these Characters are as individuals The end message was unexpected and greatly appreciated The options are scarce but the essential is there and then some it's incredible how much a simple game makes want to play it again and again. Whatever you're doing, developpers, keep it up, because it's AWESOME! And keep on stepping as your OWN pace!
BubbleBeast DigiDungeon is a pretty fun and charming game. The gameplay is based on an amazing soundtrack, where you need to match 4 bubbles of the same color, automatically shooting them to the beat, and last until the end of the song. I'd say the scoring system is kinda... strange, because I wasn't really sure how I was supposed to get a better rating, but it didn't really impact anything for me, since I didn't really care about scores. Each of the levels has something new introduced to the gameplay, a special mechanic based on the character you're fighting against. Speaking of characters, they are adorable queer furries, and probably one of my favorite parts of this game along with the music. Each character is incredibly silly and very charismatic in their own way. The story is played out as a D&D-like campaign between you (Hannah) and your friend (Sammy), who acts as the DM and plays all the other characters. The Nintendo DS gimmick (which I also adored) is also integrated as part of the story by Hannah's gameplay playing as the combat sequences. I really wish the story was longer, though, because I am really in love with all of the characters. The banter between Hannah and Sammy was very silly and really helped ground the premise. Overall, the game is free, so it would cost you nothing to try it, and took me only around 40 minutes, so it won't waste your time either, and trust me, it's worth trying.
This game has a very addicting gameplay loop with a great soundtrack. I enjoyed it. Occasionally if I'm resetting a level to grind for S ranks I'll come across an issue where different audio tracks will cut out, but it isn't really that big of a deal considering this is a free game and it was also made by some highschoolers. Overall, good stuff. Reccomend.
I loved the character designs (especially the design of the Jester, what a very lovely shape). Awesome short experience. I absolutely enjoyed it :)
