It's best to go in blind and expect a really well written and voice acted bite sized narrative experience with some good atmosphere, and what looks like lots of different avenues for player choice and agency. If you're at all into narrative design and like to geek out about stuff like that, this is a really nice time and the team should be proud.
Might be interesting but when I left the brig it just became a black screen :(
pretty boring
Game good, a short and sweet tightly-written sci-fi mystery.
The overall quality is pretty high for a student project, but it isn't flawless. There are some odd choices that I don't doubt are due to the time constraints and non existent budget, but these are easy to overlook. The voice acting is a big plus, the cast are fairly competent however some of them are really quiet. No settings as far as I could tell. these minor issues are also easy to overlook. My only real problem is that I earned the good ending, yet accidentally skipped what one could call an ending cutscene and saw the text describing a bad ending appear on screen - the exact opposite of what I'd actually done. This wasted my playthrough and although it was short I really don't feel that this should have been a problem at all, even in a student project. I will likely try it again in the near future, but for now this really sours the experience.
An awesome little 30 minute mystery game I was able to stop it with 40 seconds left and the voice acting was well performed try it out if you enjoy short story driven games Badwolf approved Thank you for making this and Howl as One. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6NoicsLREY
