[h1]Gameplay[/h1] A standard visual novel that is played day-by-day. You have twenty days to find a romantic partner, and there are a handful of romantic interests to pursue. The goal is to [i]make love[/i] to at least one of them after advancing your relationship sufficiently. There are quite a bit of player choices to make, with basic time management. [h1]Story[/h1] The Trechearean Kingdom has lost its king. [i]Heraclius the Second[/i] left a single heir to the throne, his daughter Mary. Since the passing of Heraclius, the Kingdom has been controlled by a senate of nobility. They have no intention of relinquishing power to princess Mary. Annabelle, Marry's caretaker informs her about about the senate's machinations — they have silently passed a law requiring the Queen to be married before her coronation. Mary's coronation is to occur in twenty days, leaving her little time to find someone's hand in marriage. This law goes against her interests, for [i]she[/i] is lesbian. . . and the Senate was [i]fully aware[/i] of this fact. This is when the game enters the players' reign. From "Settings", you may adjust audio, display, language and graphical preferences. Interestingly, dialogue is conveyed through a series of text blurbs, not unlike a comic book. The bottom rung of the screen is reserved for dialogue control and save/load functionality. There is no way to hide the settings bar (or the top-right "Bug Report" button). This is real shame, as the comic book-like story telling could have otherwise been an immersive experience. The lewd artwork is awesome, but unvaried. There appear to be little to no variants for each CG, which means no money shots or progression. While the CGs are very high quality, the lack of them and brief sex scenes render this game a poor title for a lewd experience. Expect female-on-female sexual content. [h1]Verdict[/h1] Yes, I definitely recommend this game. Gets really repetitive. I reached three of the endings, only got achievements for Annabelle. Bugs included repetition of scenes where characters forget what has already happened, Hyacinth turned into Astrid on one date, suddenly jumped to ending marrying new character with no explanation ... Add in the questionable English and it seems like a waste of time.

[H1]보1지나 꼭1지는 확인하지 못했습니다.. 아무래도 공략집이 필요합니다.[/H1] [B]이 게임은 제작사로부터 큐레이터 커넥트 받은 게임입니다.[/B] 예전에 추리게임인 Border of her Heart를 플레이 해 본적 있었고 성우 연기가 대단했기에 이번 게임도 흥미 있었습니다. 그런데 이번 게임은 좀.............. 그렇네요. 유저가 이벤트를 찾아다녀야 하는데 이게 그냥 시간때우기인지 아니면 제가 제대로된 길을 못찾은건지 모르겠습니다. 약 20분간 플레이 하면서 스탠딩cg외에는 아무것도 보지 못했어요. 이벤트 CG가 20여장 있는거 같은데 한장도 보지 못했습니다. 게임에 주어진 20일동안 아무 선택지나 고르면 되는 게임이 아닙니다. 같은 선택지만 고르면 같은 대사만 하고 그대로 끝. 다음날이나 그 다음날이 되어도 똑같았습니다. 결국 20일동안 어영부영 시간만 보내다가 텍스트 두줄 띄우고 게임오버.. cg는 한장도 보지 못했어요. 아마 제 영어 실력이 모자라서 이런 결과가 나온거 같습니다. 혹은 아직 앞서해보기 상태라 제가 플레이 했던것 까지만 완성되어 있을지도 모릅니다. 모르겠어요. 추천해야 할지 비추천을 해야 할지 저는 모르겠습니다. I think the game is getting better, but the code itself is presenting the real issues here. What makes me happiest is that now I'm able to see more of the game's diverse options as patchwork is getting done. Perhaps it's not fully polished yet, but hopefully owners of the game will slowly return and help find the bugs. A lot of what's going on seems to be dialogue errors or situational errors the game runs into with specific choices and when you learn the names of characters. Some scenes will load, but only if you respond to one scene a specific way! It's really crazy, but Bride For the Princess has potential to be a premier Yuri and Ecchi choice driven game!

i think the difference in art style and the sprites are way different. i guess i would want something along the same line. it's wasn't terrible. it's a very short game. 4/10

Buggy as hell, can only choose certain paths, if you choose outside of those paths the game crashes and won't allow you to proceed.

Enjoyable, but defiantly needs work. Especially with the battle clown. I ended up on a date with her before I met her, an attempted beach date with her resulted in a date with the maid and was unable to skip the dialogue for her scenes as well as a few other points. The tips and lore section is also completely unreadable. But over all I'd still say it was an enjoyable game

It could be fine mini novel, with cute characters, notable music, simple story and textual narrative. Even being dead simple and a bit silly, it would be enjoyable, because of anime stylistic and yuri central aspect, only if it hadn't 2 absolutely crucial problems. - It has a lot of bugs, no, I am not about incorrect names in some lines (mostly for Mary), it is acceptable, and not about textboxes outside of screen in rare scenes, and not the fact that game can crash for no reason after choice / quick save (whilst not saving anything), I am about bugs like being soft locked after making a choice (and there is a lot of it) - the absolute dead end with only option to load back. It may be fine if it occurred on some not crucial moments, but this craep is happening when you are trying to befriend kunoichi girl, so you only can have dead princess, or dead love interest, or the dead end with no idea why game refuses to do anything in this important moment. Of course I've tested this on many game versions / manifests, everywhere not working. Like... i don't know, test play your game? Why is it on Unity, make game in specialized visual novel engine to remove all the pain of making basic mechanics. But I can live with bugs, let it be, I am fixing stuff all my life; there is more peculiar and significant pressing matter: [i]I don't want to insult artist / developer, but [b]I AM MAD ABOUT THIS[/b]. And my words should reflect my feelings.[/i] - The quality of character sprites are mind blowing: clear details, fine contours and shading, amazing colouring, posture, visual design, facial expressions; everything is perfect, they are outrageously beautiful, best I've seen, probably. And this treasure of art exist in the same game with its CGs... ohhhhh, goddess, save my soul, they are sooo bad, that I want to die. This is a spit in the face of author who drew character sprites (AND FOR ME). If you standard for female beauty in anime terms is these sprites (how it should be), then these CG arts are absolutely disgusting. This is not about technical quality; super rough sketch of adequate anime style would be quintillion times better. These CGs are not even close to style of sprites and quite far away from anime stylistic, and infinitely far away from being good looking... I am yurijin, appreciator of beautiful things, my eyes are delicate and my soul is fragile, but my rage is monstrous, dang, there are sprites for every character in every emotion, including nude versions, for the sake of yuri purity, replace this hand drawn hell by sprites only and made more accent on textual aspect in respective moments. This quality level is fine for backgrounds, to give sense where actions happens to have place, but not for humans... and it would be logically to assume that developers are acknowledged of this, because of insane quality of character sprites... How can they even be in the same novel with these CGs????!!!! Again, the problem is not in differences between style, for me this quality with style itself are disturbingly disgusting. And don't tell me that I just don't understand beauty of these; Yeah, for sure, we have different tastes. [spoiler]Someone likes Pu-Erh in the morning, someone to drink from a puddle.[/spoiler] And I don't need words about how this is work of one person (or main project supported, at least), there are so many great projects, unimaginably more complicated, made by teams of 1-2 persons, and I won't even say how many amazing visual novels are made by single developers. But hey, you can extract Unity assets and get bunch of cool sprites.
