It takes alot for me to get angry with a game and this one did it. The sex scenes were not that enticing to me but I could deal with that. My biggest problem is this game is the "combat". You have a wrist blaster that reloads very slowly so half the time your running from monsters that are faster than you. Worst part is you cant aim down. This is really annoying against smaller enemies.
If you like alien/parasite kinda stuff, I would definitely recommend this game. Slight spoiler territory, but there are two different endings to this game and two different "difficulty" modes. Due to what I can only guess is an error in code, if you do "normal" difficulty, you can get the ending where you escape as a human. However, if you do the "submissive" difficulty, you can only get the ending where you escape as a monster. If you try to do it any other way, the ending will "glitch" and you won't be able to proceed any further. However, the overall story is really great and enjoyable
I don't usually write a review for games I didn't like. But in a shooter full of crawling alien enemies, why on earth can you not aim down?!?
Breed Laboratory is a dark and unsettling indie survival experience that blends exploration-driven horror with mature themes and a heavy emphasis on atmosphere. Developed and published by Moey, the game places the player inside an abandoned research facility where something has clearly gone wrong, and the remnants of unethical experimentation linger in every corridor. Rather than relying on constant action, the game builds tension slowly, encouraging cautious movement, observation, and gradual discovery as you attempt to understand both the environment and your own situation within it. The setting is the game’s strongest pillar. The laboratory feels oppressive and decayed, filled with malfunctioning equipment, dimly lit hallways, and rooms that suggest disturbing experiments without always explaining them outright. Environmental storytelling plays a major role, with notes, logs, and scattered objects hinting at the events that led to the facility’s collapse. Exploration is deliberate and often tense, as each new area carries the risk of encountering hostile entities or uncovering something deeply unsettling. The sense of isolation is constant, reinforcing the idea that survival depends on careful decision-making rather than brute force. Gameplay follows familiar survival horror principles but keeps things relatively grounded. Inventory management is important, forcing players to choose between carrying healing items, useful tools, or equipment that improves survivability. Resources are limited, and the game encourages restraint, making every mistake feel costly. Encounters with enemies are not designed to empower the player; instead, they emphasize vulnerability. Often, avoidance and positioning are safer than confrontation, and learning enemy behavior becomes essential to progressing without excessive losses. Combat, when it occurs, is functional but intentionally restrained. It exists more as a last resort than a primary focus, reinforcing the survival aspect of the experience. Enemies are threatening not because of complex mechanics, but because of the consequences tied to failure. The game frequently creates scenarios where retreat is the smarter option, and this tension between curiosity and caution defines much of the pacing. Light puzzle elements are integrated into the environment, typically involving exploration, item usage, or unlocking new areas, and they help break up the flow without overshadowing the atmosphere. One of the most distinctive aspects of Breed Laboratory is its integration of mature themes into the narrative and world-building. These elements are woven into the lore of the facility and the creatures encountered, reinforcing the sense of corruption and moral decay that defines the setting. While this gives the game a unique identity, it also makes it highly polarizing. Some players will find that these themes enhance the horror and contribute to the game’s unsettling tone, while others may feel that certain elements are repetitive or distract from the core survival experience. The balance between horror and adult content is deliberate, but it demands a specific audience willing to engage with its darker direction. Narratively, the game avoids clear exposition, opting instead for fragmented storytelling that requires interpretation. The protagonist’s situation, the purpose of the laboratory, and the nature of its experiments are revealed gradually through environmental clues rather than direct storytelling. This approach rewards attentive players who enjoy piecing together narratives on their own, though it can feel vague or incomplete to those who prefer more explicit story delivery. Multiple outcomes and endings add replay value, encouraging players to make different choices and explore alternative paths to uncover more of the game’s hidden details. Technically, Breed Laboratory shows both ambition and roughness. The atmosphere and world design are effective, but there are occasional issues with pacing, interface clarity, and minor bugs that can interrupt immersion. These shortcomings are noticeable but not uncommon for a small indie project, and they rarely undermine the game’s core strengths. Visual presentation focuses more on mood than polish, using lighting and environmental detail to create tension rather than high-fidelity assets. Overall, Breed Laboratory is a niche survival horror title that succeeds through mood, tension, and a willingness to embrace uncomfortable themes. It is not designed to appeal to a broad audience, nor does it attempt to smooth out its rough edges for mainstream accessibility. Instead, it offers a focused and memorable experience for players interested in atmospheric horror, exploration-driven storytelling, and mature subject matter. For those who appreciate slow-burn tension and are comfortable with its thematic direction, Breed Laboratory delivers a distinctive and unsettling journey that lingers long after the final area is explored. Rating: 6/10
Refund. Idea is ok, the rest are bad. Graphics, animations etc. are just bad. Only 4 monsters. Very poor gameplay. Shooting is a joke.
Honestly, I like this game. It has such attractive allure from the mix of dark science horror and sex arcade, making it very exciting game. Graphics maybe not the best, but I see it as a part of the game's entourage. Respect the needy, greedy, breedy demon girl!
