The intro is a little too loud, the shield character (Legacy) is a bit hard to deal with and sometimes the ultimate doesn't quite activate. Mechanics of the game are quite intuitive and easy to master but skill expression is still up to the player to maintain. Menu is a bit weird and you don.t quite know how to unlock new characters. Overall loop is fun, 7.5/10

[h1] Seriously Fun [/h1] I gotta admit, I didn't think much when I saw this game aside from the pretty excellent art style but once I actually got in, this is easily one of my favorite arena fighters. You're certainly gonna need the stomach for flying around spaces but once you get the hang of the excellent movement and find a character that suits your playstyle, it's seriously a lot of fun. The game has crossplay with Meta users so finding a match has been an easy and relatively quick affair, even at 2am EST. The game runs well on my machine after lowering a few settings to "Normal" This game scratches that Gundam Extreme VS itch for me in the best ways. I'm still a complete newb to the game but I can easily see myself grinding away to unlock everyone. Definitely give this a shot.

One of the few VR games that has me look forward to playing some more after work. Think of it as Super Smash Brothers, but in VR. You pick a character from a roster of about 9, and try to punch each other off a stage. Separating the charges for abbilities per hand adds a strategic element of choosing what hand you gonna use when. Punching is one of your main ways of attacking and moving, so you have to be considerate about when you want to use that hand to hold on to a weapon instead. Playing the game well feels great, and loosing doesn't take up much time. What bothers me is that loading times are pretty long and match making often takes around 2 minutes, which is a long time if matches only last around 5 minutes. While I believe they are no where near as annoying about it as many other games, they do sell cosmetics and characters with micro transactions. Characters can be unlocked through playing alone, taking around 8h per character by my estimate, less if you play better.
