About
Brawlhalla is and always will be 100% free to play. Plus with server regions across the world and over 125 million players, you can play with anyone and everyone no matter who you are or where you are.
Test your skill in Ranked 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3, then chill with your friends in modes like Capture the Flag and Volleybrawl, and survive as long as possible in Horde and Walker Attack.
From a werewolf with ice powers, to a space warrior who controls black holes, to a trickster god with a very large pet snake, to a fairy queen who rides a war beetle into battle, there is a Legend for everyone. And maybe next month there will be a new one for you, too.
What legendary battle will you play out? SpongeBob SquarePants & Darth Vader vs John Cena & Mega Man? What about Aang & Tiny Tina vs Rayman & Lara Croft? Or even Po & Heatblast vs Chun Li & Shovel Knight?
Brawlhalla is free to play on PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android devices. With cross-play, that means anyone on any platform can play with you on your console, computer, or phone.

probably the most rage inducing game, but it's a game so play it.
Dear Jonathan Brawl H. Alla, you have made an outrageous piece of media. I will become back my money.
bad
Brawlhalla is a genuinely good platform at it's core, simple yet engaging move sets, easy to understand controls, and great platforming physics, but once you look further some of the core mechanics actively encourage toxic strategies and incredibly unsportsmenlike play. Most notably weapon mechanics, in a Brawlhalla each player starts out unarmed and has to pick up a weapon, these weapons fall from the sky at random intervals and appear as swords sticking out of the ground, when you pick up a weapon you will get one of 2 weapons available for your chosen character, the problem here is that every player can pick up those swords to get a weapon, and you can throw those weapons to make they disappear, this creates a very aggravating strategy which I will refer to as weapon denying. Weapon denying is when a player active throws away weapons and grabs new ones, this denies the opponent from obtaining a weapon and therefor significantly reduces their combat effectiveness. The game also highly encourages spammy combo and grab attacks in lower ranks, with not many notable counters. Overall I'd recommend the game if you don't care about these mechanics or want to use such methods yourself, but if you are like me and don't want to play a game that encourages strategies you hate, I'd skip it and play other paid platform fighters such as Rivals of Ather 1/2, or even Super Smash Bros Ultimate if you have Nintendo hardware.
