Brawl Stars

Unplayable This game is horrendous. I used to love it and play it so much but now every time I load into a game there is either someone who is afk and makes me lose the game in ranked or the game lags so much that you can even move or shoot. Everyone who plays brawl stars currently knows what I’m talking about. It’s not our WiFi or anything, it’s the game bugging. Bug stars needs to be fixed immediately or everyone will stop playing it. Hopefully supercell see’s this review and changes the game.

7-14-26 Terrible connection quality on this game. Lag spikes at randoms times for entire lobbies. Game needs fixed now.

Boring Not fun I’ll stick to Minecraft

Great Game but Buffies I wish there were Buffies for every Brawler but otherwise it is a great game

Can’t even make an account anymore. I deactivated my account thinking I could just make a new one, but instead it doesn’t even let me. All it does is just take me to a screen that says account deactivated, then closes the app.

It’s loosing the magic I used to really love this game. I’d play way more than I should have. It’s quick, intense, and engaging. It’s simple to understand the concept and get involved but there is a very high skill ceiling. So what’s not to like? First off, the game is designed to get you to spend a ton of money on characters, upgrades, emotes, sprays, skins, multiple season passes and tiers, etc. you can progress without them, but it takes a long time and there are very real barriers to competitive play and take a long time to overcome. I’ve been playing off and on for years, spent a moderate amount of money because I enjoyed the game, but even so, I am barely able to have enough characters to play on higher level ranked matches. So your progress is largely soft locked behind slowly unlocking and upgrading characters. But that is still not even the part that is taking away the magic. The worst part is that they keep adding new characters that each have their own special abilities. That sounds like it should be a win right?! New characters, All right! But no. The truth is with each new character it becomes increasingly likely that the character you picked is a terrible match up against the ones on the other team. In the prominent mode of random matches you not only are seriously at risk of getting teammates who aren’t holding their weight, but also on being matched against brawlers who will completely counter you. The amount of skill necessary to overcome makes the games less a question of pure skill but of who picked what. For me that undermines the fun of the game. It’s one thing to have to outplay a disadvantage, but another when you are constantly hoping the other team didn’t pick this one guy otherwise you’re basically going to have to play flawlessly to have a chance. The two most recent additions to the game as of this writing are both in that game breaking camp. Bolt and Nori are both brawlers who are meant to jump on the weak teammates and murder them. The more brawlers they add like that the more team comp is vital and in randoms certain characters are more and more risky to play. And you might have guessed that they are some of my favorite brawlers. So long story short, the game is getting more and more tedious to play and I have left the last few gaming sessions feeling that the fun is gone for me. Hope that helps you decide whether to play or not and hopefully the devs will take a hard look at what monetizing the game through constant new brawlers is doing to the balance and meta of the game.

Buffies The buffies store is so bad. Let me break it down for you. So I just saved up all my power points to buy a buffie for a cool, awesome brawler, “Bo”. But the store is so dumb I accidentally bought a buffie for a sad, loser brawler, “max”. Now I’m out of power points and lost my will to continue to enjoy brawl stars and also my life is sad now. To conclude this review I want to drive my point home about the buffie store. The store reminds me of doing math homework or a summer reading book. Please refund my power points and give me all of Bo’s buffies
