About
"Welcome back to hell, now with added hell!"
The world is being overrun by monsters, the last hope? A parcel delivery company
Boxed up is a first-person Parcel-Scanning simulation game with a ghoulish twist! Certain boxes contain monsters, and its up to you to figure it out, match the given stats to the box's actual measurements and info. Your office contains many gadgets and gizmos to help you find fault in the boxes. If something doesn't match, its a discrepancy, and the box must be thrown out, as it will contain a monster.
Each day the monsters will adapt and new discrepancies will arise, along with the quota of boxes needed! Make sure to upgrade and keep your machines healthy so you can keep up with the increased demand.
Who knows what you'll unpack in Boxed Up!

Scanner & Computer
The scanner is the bread and butter of any good box sorter. Competent workers scan labels for details about their package, a helpful tool in analysing for discrepancies.
Info desk
We understand that many workers are forgetful, that’s why we’ve installed a secondary computer to your workstation with all the relevant information needed to remind you again and again!
Scale
Measure the weight of all your packages with this industrial grade scale! A necessary tool for confirming details of your package, this scale will ensure no box-related problems ever weigh on you again.
Metal detector
Some packages come with declarations of contents, and metal is an important one to keep track of for the Box Company™. Use this heavy-duty machine to search packages for traces of metal and confirm their contents.
(DO NOT PLACE ANY LIMBS OR BODY PARTS INSIDE THE MACHINE AT ANY TIME)

I would also like to have a 3-5 minutes shifts at work, and all I need to do is to check is about 10 boxes. Ah, dreams... I'm giving it a dislike for being so unrealistic...
Really good art style, love the wacky assets and the black outline around everything like in old mobile games. I don't know why the monitor above the metal detector doesnt follow the style, everything else looks great tho!
Hi guys, this is my honest review after playing this game for an hour and also ending the whole story almost twice. First i will tell the pros (+) of the game then cons (-) after that what should be changed and i will answear the question "Is it woth playing?". pros (+): - amazing textures, graphics - smooth and nice looking in comic book style - it feels solid - i encountered 0 bugs or glitches whatsoever - satysfying gameplay - it is relaxing to sort the boxes out while trying not to let the monters pass - cool tools - smart designed tools that helps you decide which box is good to go and which one not - great audio - realistic and funny boss voice actor as well as good music - you can choose the difficulty - it is a good addition to this game cons (-): - super short gameplay - it lasts about 40 minutes if you play for the first time, but you can end it in maybe even 20 - mid tutorial - in my opinion it would be better if the first day was strictly tutorial - the intro - it could be better (deeper in some way) - to little amount of tools - there are only 3 tools (weight, scanner and metal detector) - no animation after failing the quota - being fired should be in someway shown What should be changed/added? - definitely the lenght of the game - more days as well as tools - jumpscares - for example: monsters would jump out of the boxes in some situations - animation after failing the quota - better tutorial And now lets answer the most importnat question - "Is it worth playing?": YES, DEFINITELY IT IS AMAZING FOR 0$. I had really good time playing it. It is fun and entertaining. Thank you for reading my first impresion of this amazing game. Hope you will play it as well and have same fun as i had while playing it.

Fun concept, wish there was an endless mode or something to add more content
Really cool game, just a few small things, I don't have a "crosshair" and it makes knowing where I'm clicking more difficult, also the fps adjustment is just a slider without any number values. i also found opening the metal detector very Difficult.
For everyone who has given this a Thumbs Down. Please advise this: This game was for a University Project between a friend of mine and a group of people, this was in no way going to be published to the Steam Store and they never thought to until I gave him the idea to There will be bugs, there will be discrepancies. DO NOT EXPECT IT TO BE PERFECT This was made in the span of 8 weeks and for those 8 weeks it is very good, yes there are bugs and that's understandable since this was made by University Students, NOT INDUSTRY. Thank you for Reading this My opinion on the game? I love it
the art style and core gameplay are both really strong, and the game has a lot of promise going forward
Really cool idea and fun to play (it basically plays like "Papers Please" but with a lot more going on!) I love the art style too!
Was curious and decided to give this a try. We had to restart the days multiple times... The first day, I accidentally clicked and let go right away, and the package full on disappeared! No matter where we looked or what we clicked, we could not reset the box, we had to reset the day. Managed to get through Day 1 on the second attempt, though I'm not 100% how since I couldn't tell ya how we knew for sure we had disposed of the boxes properly. Started Day 2 and attempted to use the metal detector. No idea why, but the thing got stuck in the down position, would not let me lift the sleeve to get the package out. I clicked all over, held and dragged, and the shutter thing would move a tiny bit here and there but never upwards... So I reset Day 2 assuming it would reset all of the packages... WRONG! It still had the package info on the computer screen and the sleeve of the metal detector was still stuck in the down position. In total, we had 2 packages full on disappear, a radio disappeared, had to reset both Day 1 and 2, Day 2 failed to actually reset so the problem we were trying to resolve remained... The sensitivity on the mouse is super high and the game has no setting to adjust it. The art style and humor is decent, even with the misspellings, but we played for less than 20 minutes or so and ran into a bug every 3-4 minutes... This needs further user testing before being ready for full release, in my opinion
A very nice, short game playing as a box sorter. Great if you wanna kill about 30min and are very fast with detail oriented skills.
